Study of Streamlines and Airfoils (right). Section cuts (bootom and top left) and plan view of Voided Spatial Machine.
streamlined airfoils, study of voided surfaces and continuous surfaces.
Thickness of framing intends a lighter mass as the black represents solid space for an intended heavier mass. (Top side of machine)
Blue represents glass that is used to study how a volumetric machine extracts continuous void space.
Triangular pieces represent solidified framework used to construct a physical iteration
The darker surfacing shows the areas in which solid volume should be distributed, as the white holds light framework. (Bottom side of machine)
The curvature in the surfacing exaggerated possible void spacing that could interpret light mass to the machine
The repetition of white frame gives the nose of the machine a heavier mass, emphaszing two separate volumetric surfacing.
Geometric sectioning creates a comprehendable framework that could easily be replicated.
