WELCOME FROM THE EDITOR Digital NBN

We’ve also held our first meeting at the Park Inn by Radisson, Northampton Town Centre and thank you to Chris Langsford and the team for looking after us at our recent meeting. We will continue to grow and enable people to engage with each other for future growth.

In our latest edition, we look back at events from the opening quarter of this year and also welcome new Members to NNBN as we continue to grow and help support our community.

It’s been an incredible start to the year for NNBN with our growth and both Marie and I are delighted with how we are continuing to enable businesses to engage with charities and the education sector.

March saw the launch of our first Northampton meeting with a launch at Delapre Abbey and we’d like to thank Cllr Jonathan Nunn, Leader of West Northamptonshire Council, and Cllr Daniel Lister, Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Town Centre Regeneration and Growth for joining us for the launch of our first meeting in West Northamptonshire. We’d also like to thank both James Elliott and Dean Goldsmith from the Business & IP Centre for joining us on the night and sharing their services those in attendance. Thank you to Delapre Abbey’s CEO Richard Clinton for his support and to Adele and the team for looking after us on the night.

By expanding into the West of the County, NNBN is proudly supporting it’s members across the whole County and we are predicting further growth this year with new members joining. Since 1st January, we’ve seen 24 new members joining our community and we’re delighted you’ve joined us so we can help you grow and engage with other like minded members.

March also saw the visit of Kevin Hollinrake MP, the Small Business Minister, who came to Northamptonshire and, again, Marie and I were proud to have led an amazing opportunity for local businesses to engage with the Minister. Over 100 people attended our Business Brunch with Minister Hollinrake in an event where Northamptonshire came together.

Our workshops have been extremely popular with themed workshops on branding, awards entries and video and we will continue to run these as we go forward to help our members grow. We’re open to ideas around topics of the workshops, so please do let us know if you have an idea of what you would like to see at a future workshop.

Finally, thank you to everyone who continues to engage with NNBN. Our 121 Mentoring Sessions with our members have been on the increase, our NNBN Awards will help celebrate achievement and success within the County this year and our Member Community continues to grow. Without you all, we wouldn’t be where we are today and long may it continue for us all!
