Two (2) of our MTC memberships are paid memberships that help support our District Strategy. Your decision to invest in the Council is truly an investment in your company. Our philosophy of building trusted networks aligns with the power of both association and trust. We believe that there truly is strength in numbers and as an industry there is value knowing, trusting, working, and collaborating with each other. The synergies will increase access to opportunities and resources and allow for new and innovative national and global leadership for our member Minority Technology Companies and partner stakeholders.

The key to our success will be in our ability to organize as a powerful body of believers. Believing that trust is not only possible but essential not only for our own internal desire to win business and increase market share, but essential for the US economy and the interest of our national security. The US minority will become the US majority and it is vital that we utilize the systems of commerce to aggregate resources and combine our joint intellectual property into a powerful and distributed network of vibrant and connected technology businesses.

Leadership, Strategy, and faith in what is not yet seen are at the core of our organization. Our ability to advocate and lobby for our industry is funded by membership. The Council was formed with the intent of moving the numbers not only through just rationalizations of parity but also by facilitating a collaborative environment that enables MTC’s the opportunity to robustly participate in active and large transactions and engagements creating jobs and wealth in our communities. The Council Article of Incorporation speaks to the comprehensive approach required to gain a leveraged foothold in this US economy. We will win by doing not by asking. There is a great need for reform and capacity building in the US and abroad and our members are both capable and ready for both the challenge and the rewards.

EXECUTIVE MINORITY TECHNOLOGY COMPANY MEMBERSHIP $2,250

Leadership is key in any organization and the National Minority Technology Council is no exception. Executive Members have a keen interest in promoting the value of teaming, joint ventures, partnerships and potential M & A’s. The Minority Technology Industry is a multibillion dollar industry with members who are already successful. Our Council District strategy hinges on active leadership and continued stakeholder involvement.

As an industry we now recognize that trust is granted as well as earned. We need a system of leadership and cooperation in order to strategically compete. Teaming is a science not an event. Relationships are based on like interests and our Executive Members recognize the power of leverage and connectivity.

The Council relies on our Executive Members to lead committee initiatives and respond to new market demands. Executive Members represent their Districts at national meetings and regularly communicate with our national and regional team receiving legislative and market updates. Executive Members are highlighted on their District website and regularly meet with government leaders about upcoming Council meetings, events and initiatives.

CERTIFIED MINORITY TECHNOLOGY COMPANY MEMBERSHIP $ 550

The National Minority Technology Council’s Certified Membership is our base membership for minority technology companies. This affordable membership invites members to our Council Intranet and our District open and closed member meetings. Members are able to participate in committee meetings and assist in the direction of local district level activities. Certified Members are included in communications about procurement and subcontract opportunities... Member news and events are highlighted on their local District Council Website and highlights may appear on Council newsletters. Members are expected to promote and favorably represent the Council brand. Our goal is to have a nationally recognized certification program that is not burdensome and results in incremental sales and relevant networking opportunities.

At the core of our Certified Membership is the recognition that future procurements will be based on “market research.” Our mission is to continually develop and maintain a survey based searchable database where qualified procurement officials can research resource needs based on capabilities and geographic criterion. The old myth “we can’t fine one” (meaning we cannot find any minority companies to fill a requirement) is no longer a viable reason for not doing business with our industry.
