Scholarship Winners
by Dalene Hodnett, Director of Communications and Media Relations One of the goals of the New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau is to protect and promote our state’s agricultural legacy. Our scholarship program is one way to achieve this by advancing the next generation of NMF&LB members. We are proud to announce this year’s scholarship winners.
His team won the National 4-H Parliamentary Procedure contest in Denver in 2012 and he has served in the FFA offices of sentinel and treasurer. He plans to study Criminal Justice with an eye towards joining the US Marines after graduation from college. “My service will be a continuation of the traditions of those great men and women who stood before me, protecting our great country,” says Walker.
