1. gathering spot - surrounded by multi-cultures - separated between cultures - open for the locals - become the gathering spot

2. education + religious centre - surrounded by education centre + religious centre - education centre: 35 (within 1.5km radius) - religious centre: 25 (within 1.5km radius) - become a centre for education and religious - providing bigger space for performing art - space for exchanging knowledge

3. noise - residential areas are mostly located at the left side, hence the noise pollution is lower - low noise performing art located at the quiet zone - recreation park will locate at the left sides

4. car park + bus hub - empty land, abandoned structure & abandoned buildings are used to propose as a parking area & shuttle bus to bring the people to the site - to reduce the spaces used for carpark in the site - to remain the amount of greens in the site.

5. access - the shortest routes are proposed from the carparks to the site - there are entrances are proposed from all the sides according to the routes.

development 1 bringing in all the religious and education centre as well as the locals

development 2 sharing backyards are created for the people to use it. All the spaces are connected by the rail-biking track.

development 3 Sharing backyards are connected to each other to create a bigger space. Community area, recreation park and urban farming area are combined together

zoom in – part A this render shows the connection of the overhead bridge from the indian temple to the sentul park. the overhead bridge is directly connected to the event space and carpark provided as well as the sharing backyard

zoom in – part C this render shows the biggest event area and the moving performance train stage. an overhead bridge is connected from the park to the malay area at the back of the site. mini stages and chong hwa sharing backyard are located along the rail-biking track.

this diagram is showing the space arrangement by following the programme flow which is dining before performance.

this diagram is showing the location of the new performing areas which are one at the top and one at the bottom. it also shows a bridge proposed to connect the sentul depot to klpac.

the function of the each spaces are planned. the detailed circulation of the spaces are planned from the main entrance to each performing areas

the diagrams above is showing the development of the shape for the performing stage areas from square to round shape. it is because the round shape can suit with the architectural language of the new proposed urban park.
