New London Barn Playhouse Announces Restructuring of Development Department; Celebrates the Contributions and Legacy of Director of Development, Jody Cooper New London, NH — [November 19, 2025] — The New London Barn Playhouse today announced a strategic restructuring within its Development Department as the organization prepares for its 94th season on Main Street in New London, NH. As part of this restructuring, the position of Director of Development has been eliminated, and as a result, Jody Cooper will be departing from her role at the New London Barn Playhouse. This decision comes as the Barn Playhouse prioritizes its focus on individual donor stewardship and cultivating deeper, more personal relationships with the supporters who have sustained the organization for nearly a century. With the continued loss of federal and state arts funding, the Playhouse is investing in hands-on donor engagement, stewardship, and connection as it works to ensure a vibrant future for live theatre in the Lake Sunapee/Kearsarge region and beyond. “Jody has been an essential part of the Barn Playhouse’s story for many years, including her years of performing on the Barn Playhouse’s MainStage,” said Elliott Cunningham, Managing Director. “Her commitment to the Barn’s mission, and her passion for the arts have shaped the development program in lasting and meaningful ways.” During her tenure, Cooper played a vital role in expanding the Playhouse’s donor base and
