Message from the Director of Operations Welcome to Landscape New Jersey 2017, NJLCA’s premier event, which promises to be our best trade show yet with a full floor and a great educational schedule! Furthermore, this year’s theme is casino. So if you see some unusual decorations, booth displays and entertainment, don’t worry. It’s all part of our plan to make our trade show even more fun. Our exhibitors are as excited as you are about the season starting and can provide you with the latest products and services you need to be successful this year. I’m sure you’ll see all of the companies that have supported our trade show since it’s inception, as well as some new names and faces, bringing different products to market. Try to visit all of them, so they can help you grow in 2018. Our floor plan now makes it easy for you to navigate your way around the trade show, to see everything that it has to offer. DOT Regulation Updates 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm - Room C Sgt. Scott Dorrler, NJ State Police
The State of New Jersey recently chose to adopt DOT regulations in regard to many commercial vehicles. This adoption includes revisions to the definition of a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) operating on highways in New Jersey. These vehicles will now be subject to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Rules. Sgt. Dorrler will discuss the New Jersey statutes relating to the operation of commercial motor vehicles as it applies to the landscaping industry and answer your questions on traffic safety and commercial vehicles regulations.
