In the real-world application, we can already see them as a part of various things, such as being embedded in GPS navigations, powering non-playable characters (NPC) in games, a tool inside the healthcare system to help analyse medical data to diagnose illness, and it is also practically the basis of what makes search engine such as Google, Bing, and so on are possible in the �rst place.

Now, what is ChatGPT? Who develops them?

ChatGPT is one of the products of an AI technology that focuses on the natural language processing aspect of the said technology to which its goal is to enable the AI to be able to comprehend and even have human-like conversations with real people and much more through the approach of a chatbot.

This AI is being developed by research company: OpenAI as part of its project to further explore the capability of AIs in order to be “an extension of individual human wills and, in the spirit of liberty, as broadly and evenly distributed as possible.”

Overall, GPT models like ChatGPT are capable of understanding and producing coherent text in response to prompts, making them useful for a variety of natural language processing tasks, including chatbot applications.

How to use ChatGPT?

As ChatGPT itself is currently still in its research and feedback-collection phase, its use of them is completely free, allowing users to access the model without charge. However, OpenAI also introduced a subscription plan called ChatGPT Plus, which provided additional bene�ts for a monthly fee.

ChatGPT Plus provided bene�ts like faster response times, priority access to new features and improvements, and availability even during peak times. The subscription version of ChatGPT also uses the latest GPT technology, the Chat GPT-4 which in a nutshell, is faster, and has a massive 25,000-word limit compared to its free counterpart sibling which can only handle 3,000 words at maximum due to it still being stuck in using the GPT-3.5.

Aside from that, the GPT Plus also offers priority access to new features and improvements which can be assumed that it also has the most recent bank of data available in contrast to the free version which its knowledge has been cut off in September 2021, meaning that it has no knowledge about what happened after that date.
