How would you summarize your career path thus far and personal background? What energy do you bring to publishing?
My journey to publishing has been a long and winding one to say the least! I have experience in equine management, hospitality, sports management and sports media on top of my background working for our family feasibility study business. I grew up an avid book worm and have had my head in the clouds since I was a child. After college I moved back to my hometown to raise my children and found a media career waiting to happen. From pioneering the first female sports podcast in Kansas City in 2014, being the first local female high school football commentator in 2016 to being the first female sports radio host in Kansas City history in 2017… I absolutely found my calling blazing trails on the mic
Once leaving traditional airwaves, I started my own media network in 2020. I love open minds, free thinkers and those willing to share their story with the world as that is so much of what I do already Working with print was a dream of mine the last few years with starting my free quarterly magazine in March 2024, self publishing and printing each issue myself! In October of the same year I created Ninth House Publishing as an ode to not only my 9th House Mercury but also my 9th House North Node which happen to both be in Pisces.
I am a burst of lightning and a boom of thunder when it comes to new ideas or ways to radically transform a space. I bring vision and inspiration to any project I’m lucky enough to build on as well as a fresh perspective. From my years of varied background and experience I bring marketing, PR, magic and contagious optimism to the function

When did you first identify yourself as a writer? What project or work are you most proud of completing?
It has been a struggle for a while to call myself a writer even though I have been writing jabbing little blogs, witty political satire and sports opinions for the last twenty five years of my life. From starting off mouthing off in forums at a young age on the internet in 2000 to being paid to write about college sports in the early 2010s, my voice has been voicing for a long time. While in the past I have been a brazen yet polarizing voice in the media world I have shifted into a voice of knowledge and information collected over my years of studying the divine and unknown. I am most proud of being radically myself these days and completing the work of turning into my true divine form each and every day.
I am quite the visionary and big picture thinker, which can be expansive as well as overwhelming at times. My speciality is going piece by piece, step by step and formulating the best plan ahead possible. I am a Manifestor in Human Design and when my momentum is rolling, it is truly unstoppable. From getting your book published no matter what obstacles we face to making sure your press release goes out to all the right people, I bring my networking skills, brainstorming skills and resourcefulness to the table with each project we launch.
How do you like to express yourself creatively?
I love being able to express myself in grand fashion, whether it is through the spoken or written word- you will not get bored when I am at the helm! My magazine has been a huge passion project of mine and so has my YouTube channel. I also love reading and find inspiration from so many outlets.

Who are some of your favorite authors?
One I recently discovered is Marion Woodman, a woman that has shifted so much of my perspective while rattling me awake to my own participation in the world around me. Past authors I have enjoyed are Roald Dahl (his asteroid, 6223, falls in my 5th House conjunct my Pluto!), F.Scott Fitzgerald (or really Zelda, his not-so ghostwriter), Kathleen McGowan, Don Miguel Ruiz, Jan Spiller, Erin Sullivan, Carmen Turner-Schott.

In your free time, what do you enjoy doing?
A rare day off for me would include sleeping in until at least 8:00, slowly starting my morning and listening to the birds and water outside my freshly opened window. Shaking and hopping out the stagnant energy of my body.
Journaling until I understand what I am meant to comprehend for the day ahead. On days off I don’t recite my favorite Marcus Aureilus quote, I simply enjoy being at home and not being part of the outside world. These days could include working in my office, although it might be more gaming than working, researching passion projects of mine, furiously writing my thoughts about life, slowly filling out parts of my website like today or simply watching the trees I have grown from a stick sway in the wind. I also love feeding the neighborhood crows, building my dream garden, learning about rocks and attending my children’s various sporting and theatrical events.
