Philippe Pastor was born in 1961 in Monaco. He is an autodidactic artist who works between Monaco and Spain. Using living matter, its transformation through time and immediate surroundings, combining soil, pigments, minerals and plants of all kinds, Philippe Pastor represents his vision of life, environmental destruction and Man’s involvement in society though his work.

Exhibited all around the world, the Artist’s participation in the 52nd and 53rd Venice bienniale, mark turning point in his work. In 2013, Philippe Pastor’s recent work was exhibited in Barcelona (Azul Tierra) and in Miami at the Miami River Art Fair 2013.
