Sale also includes the first daughter Trueman Shania to be sold out of Trueman Noreen, Overall Interbreed Champion Balmoral 2018. Trueman Sonita is the first daughter to be offered for sale out of Trueman Marianne who was the Best Heifer under 2 years old in NI Herd competition in 2018.

The Trueman Herd was established in 1997 with the purchase of two heifers. Since then, it has expanded and now consists of more than 20 breeding cows. Most of the cows are progeny of the 40th Anniversary National Champion Trueman Euphonium (Embryo Lots 21, 22 and lot 23 from this bloodline). These are tremendous females which are now being crossed with the new stock bull Telfers Munster. Progeny of Telfers Munster have already been sold in 2020 in our on-line sale and females have reached 17,100 Gns and bulls to 14,000 Gns. The main emphasis within the herd is producing cattle with exceptional shape, length, and docility as well as ease of calving and milking ability. The best cows in the herd are flushed regularly to try and reproduce the highest quality cattle within the Limousin breed. Cows are flushed 2 or 3 times a year and then put back in calf. As the health status of recipients is so important, these are sourced from farms who are also part of a High Health Scheme with Johnes Level 1 being the most important criteria when purchasing recipients. Our family would like once again to thank the buyers and under bidders from our previous online sales in 2020 & 2021. We believe the line up for our 2022 sale is filled with exceptional quality dare we say our best overall line up! We honestly believe they will go on to thrive and drive success in their new homes.

Trueman Shania is one of the youngest heifers in the sale but is very special. She is the first daughter to be sold out of Trueman Noreen, the Overall Interbreed Champion at Balmoral in 2018 and probably the best female to ever have been bred at Trueman. Her grandmother is the 40th Anniversary National Champion Trueman Euphonium. Her sire Telfers Munster’s first daughters are proving to be very milky so Shania should have good milking ability. Shania has the potential to be a real show heifer next year and combined with her breeding is a heifer that only comes to auction very rarely!!

Marley is a Jagger x Euphonium daughter which has been a tremendous cross, and many of the females in our herd are now from this cross. Marley is a full sister of Trueman Noreen, Overall Interbreed Champion Balmoral and is an outstanding cow with great milk. Sylvia, Marley's daughter has tremendous potential with so much style. Orihanna is a maternal sister to Trueman Lute, Overall Interbreed Champion at Balmoral, and Trueman Pixie, who sold for 17,100gns.
