(BALLYNACANNON)

The Ballynacannon Flock was Established in 1998 and we have focused on breeding Suffolks with tight skins, fleshy tops and good gigots. We have enjoyed much success selling ram lambs to 20,000gns, 18,000gns and many more high prices. Ballynacannon Commander was sold in 2013 for 7500gns and was crowned Sire of the Year in 2014 and is still the only ram bred in Ireland to have won this great achievement. Highlights of gimmer sales came this year with a private sale of our show gimmer to Ballyboe Suffolks for ÂŁ9500. We have had a great 12 months selling gimmers with tops of 6500gns, 6000gns, 5000gns, 4100gns and 3000gns at the Carlisle sales. Ram lambs have topped in at 6500gns this year to Birness which we were delighted with after having a testing time at lambing with also a superb private sale of half of one of our top ram lambs to the Tolgus flock!

4100GNS MASTER DEBATER GIMMER

We also have two exciting new service sires in Malinhead Maverick and Beechbrooke Boombastic.

All in lamb sheep are vaccinated for Toxo and Enzo, with all sheep being on the Hep-p system. We would like to wish all customers new and old the very best with their purchases. Dennis Taylor Mobile: 07793030425 Email: ballynacannonsuffolks@aol.co.uk
