VALUABLE SILVER CHALLENGE CUP: given by the Middleton in Teesdale Farmers Mart Ltd, to be competed for at the Middleton in Teesdale Farmers Mart for the BEST REGISTERED SWALEDALE AGED RAM, the property of a member of the Swaledale Sheep Breeders Association. The winner to retain the cup for 1 year, when it must be returned in perfect condition to the Mart Secretary one week previous to the next Ram sale. The prize winning Ram to be bona-fide sold through the ring or the cup will be withheld and not treated as won by the owner of such Ram. Any exhibitor who wins the cup 3 times in succession or 5 times in all may claim it as his own property.
Class 4: CROWNED RAM LAMB, owned and bred by Exhibitor of the Association who is a Small Breeder. 1st: £20 Voucher, 2nd £15 voucher, 3rd £10 voucher, 4th £5 voucher, 5th £2, Vouchers donated by Phillip Holden Rural PERPETUAL TROPHY donated by Mr J Stephenson for the CHAMPION RAM LAMB.
Class 5: SHEARLING RAM (Large Breeders) 1st 1 bottle mineral drench kindly given by Eden Farm Supplies & £45 voucher donated by I’ansons, and The Sherwoods Cup to be held for 1 year, 2nd £30 voucher donated by I’ansons, 3rd £20 voucher donated by I’ansons, 4th £10, 5th £5
