Note | Timed Auction Bidding Instructions You must be pre-registered to be able to bid at any of our Timed Auctions. Please follow the link below either to complete a registration form or to ‘log on’ to bid on the sale https://harrisonandhetherington.co.uk/online-sales/live-stream-bidding/ Please read below for an explanation of how our Timed Auctions operate: The sale is advertised to ‘start’ finishing from 12noon. This means that Lot 1 will finish at 12noon then each subsequent lot will finish 20 seconds after the previous lot. We have tried as best we can to simulate a ‘live’ bidding environment, therefore, you will have the chance to bid on each lot in order. There is also an ‘anti-snipe’ feature built in, if you are the current highest bidder and someone tries to out bid you within the last 20 seconds, the bidding will be extended for a further 20 seconds. This will give you the opportunity to bid again on that lot. This ‘anti-sniping’ continues on that specific lot until someone drops out of the bidding process. Each time the anti-snipe is activated, the finishing time for each subsequent lot in the sale will be extended by an additional 20 seconds.
