Lukeroyal Herd Foreword Over the past 26 years since the herd’s foundation in 1992 we have immensely enjoyed breeding the British Blue so it is with some sadness we have decided to disperse the herd. Our aim was to produce mobile, correct bulls with great conformation and an eagerness to work for the commercial farmer and many fantastic bulls we did breed including several who have produced those fancy show calves and bulls to AI. In 2005 we purchased a stock bull Twyning Ash Vaughan which has provided us with a female base of the best cows we ever had, with great size, mobility, correctness and easy calving. Being an almost all black bull with a lovely coat he has provided us with a deeply coloured herd. As you can see this seems to carry on and on from generation to generation. Most of our stock have been sold in Carlisle and Chelford where we have had many successes in the show and sale rings including Overall and Reserve Overall Champion Championships and top prices. We wish all our prospective buyers every success with their purchases from this sale. Mel & Diane Lucas

Herd Health • Lukeroyal is high health conscious and you can purchase from us with confidence. There has been no TB or Brucellosis in the 26 year history of the herd. • 1 year TB testing, last herd test Jan 2018 and all sale cattle pre-sale tested in April 2018 • Member of a CHECS health scheme for Johne’s and BVD • Johne’s risk level 2 (2nd year) • All cattle BVD tested
