Hauliers and farmers delivering livestock must disinfect their boots before and after loading or unloading.

Livestock purchased or unsold will not be allowed to move unless an authorised “pass slip” has been issued by the main office.
No livestock will be allowed to remain on the premises after a sale.

Only staff, livestock hauliers, owners or their agents are permitted to load or unload livestock.

INTRODUCTION Welcome to the 9th Dutch Texel Breeders’ Show and Sale in Carlisle. The success of this special sale of Dutch Texels is due to the understanding amongst commercial lamb producers that Dutch Texels are simply the carcass breed of choice if you want a more robust, larger and stronger version of its closest rivals. Dutch Texels are the easy-care option amongst the carcass breeds. They are presented naturally, without enhancing their shape through elaborate trimming and this shows their true shape. Dutch Texels are reliable, rewarding and easy to keep.
