Notice to all Visitors and Traders Please read and observe the following: • Excessive dirty vehicles will not be allowed entry, therefore ensure vehicle is clean before arrival. • All vehicles transporting livestock will be subject to a documentation check before entry to market site. • All visitors and traders must ensure they wear clean clothing and footwear before entering market site. • All visitors and traders using car park areas please use main entrance. • All persons delivering livestock to mart must park on the hardcore area at the back of the site and then proceed along the designated route to the biosecurity control next to the supervisors office. • Hauliers and farmers delivering livestock must disinfect their boots before and after loading or unloading. • Livestock purchased or unsold will not be allowed to move unless an authorised “pass slip” has been issued by the main office. • No livestock will be allowed to remain on the premises after a sale. • Only staff, livestock hauliers, owners or their agents are permitted to load or unload livestock. • Wash hands thoroughly when leaving livestock pennage areas. • Please observe our staff’s instructions at all times.

General Information & Sale Notes LOCATION - The Sale will be held in the Borderway Mart, Carlisle Cumbria. Motorists should leave the M6 at Junction 43 and follow CARLISLE signs. The Market is on the left hand side of the road within 1/4 mile of M6. CONDITIONS OF SALE - Sold under the conditions of sale as recommended by The Livestock Auctioneers’ Association. COMMISSIONS - The Auctioneers will dutifully execute commissions to purchase for buyers unable to attend the sale personally, upon receipt of written instructions. METHOD OF SALE - All sheep will be sold in guineas (105 pence) and strictly in catalogue order, unless any alteration is announced by the Auctioneers. SETTLEMENT AND CLEARANCE OF STOCK - Settlement in full is due immediately at the close of Sale. No animal may leave the Sale Premises without an official ‘Pass Slip’, obtainable only from the Auctioneers upon settlement.

FOREWORD
We would like to offer everyone an extremely warm welcome to the final part of our major reduction sale. We farm as a family at Neuadd-Blaeduhonw in Mid-Wales. The farm runs from 1050ft above sea level to 1550ft. We pride ourselves for being honest, genuine breeders responsibly breeding sheep for future generations. I have been fortunate enough to have been able to do my dream job, but after long deliberation we made the decision to majorly reduce our flocks in December 2024, due to suffering for many years with a bad back, with it no longer allowing me to manage the flock in the way I believe it deserves to be. We started breeding Texels in 2010, with the aim to breed top quality commercial rams, with the traits we feel are important; skin, locomotion, carcass, and character as well as being their ability to hold flesh off grass. We are selling the remaining 30 gimmers and believe this is another opportunity to get your hands on some of the most successful genetics in the breed. I would like to thank my family who have supported and encouraged me with my Pedigree flocks, as well as all our past and present customers, and the friends we have made along the way over the many enjoyable years breeding. Finally, I want to wish the very best of luck with any purchases today and sincerely hope they bring you as much joy and success as they have to us.
