General Information LOCATION: The sale will be held at Kipperknowles Farm, Dinmore, Hereford HR4 8EE CONDITIONS OF SALE: Sold under the conditions of sale recommended by the Livestock Auctioneers Association for England and Wales. METHOD OF SALE: All stock will be sold in gns (guineas) and strictly in catalogue order unless any alteration is announced by the Auctioneers. SETTLEMENT AND CLEARANCE OF STOCK: Settlement in full is due immediately at the close of Sale. No animal may leave the sale premises without an official ‘Pass Slip’, obtainable from the Auctioneers upon settlement. We will have card payment facilities at the sale, debit cards will not incur a surcharge. Credit cards linked to your business account are acceptable but will be subject to a 2% surcharge. Bank transfers are also acceptable on the day. We will be able to confirm receipt of payment, and only then, we will issue a pass out for your purchases. HAULAGE: Haulage to all parts of the UK can be arranged at Purchasers costs. FOREWORD Firstly we would like to welcome everybody to Dinmore for our third Production Sale, numbers have once again crept up and we feel it is time to offer some great genetics and ease the workload a little Since the foundation of the Dinmore Herd the principle aims have been to breed cattle of a High Health status with correct conformation, style, shape, locomotion, longevity, docility and fertility which would be suitable for both pedigree and commercial use. These principles stand true today and are reflected in the cattle offered for sale today. BEEF SHORTHORNS: The Beef Shorthorn herd was established after purchasing a lovely young heifer from Sid and Mary Chaplin Meonhill Sjaklin Cara who subsequently won the Champion Sorthorn at the Royal Welsh and her first two bulls in stirling made 4,000 and 4,500 gns respectively, unfortunately she failed to get back in calf but there are some embryos in the sale. The next purchases came from a local farm and were the Zoe family which have bred mostly heifers and tremendous quality with both Westhide Zoe and Dinmore Zoe Katrina both won the Shorthorn championship at the Royal Welsh and Westhide Zoe was reserve Interbreed Champion. The cattle have been a pleasure to work with and have been very low maintenance as Shorthorns should be! We are willing to keep cattle at Dinmore for a limited period of time to facilitate transport and export testing at the purchasers risk. We would like to thank everybody for attending our sale today and wish you all the best of luck if you managed to purchase today and would be pleased to welcome any visitors if you wish to view the cattle beforehand . Included within the sale is the dispersal of the Absolute Herd for Richard Bartle, after forty some years of being involved in the Limousin Breed I have decided its time to call it a day, I have enjoyed the cattle and would like to thank Paul Dawes for allowing me this privilege.
