General Information & Sale Notes LOCATION: The Sale will be held in the Borderway Mart, Carlisle Cumbria. Motorists should leave the M6 at Junction 43 and follow CARLISLE signs. The Market is on the left hand side of the road within 1/4 mile of M6.

VIEWING - The Sale Sheep will be available for inspection at Borderway Mart, Carlisle from 3pm on Friday 17th May and on the morning of the sale. Prior Inspection of the sheep is most welcome by appointment with the vendors (below).

HOTELS - There are many hotels within the area, ranging from four star to excellent Bed and Breakfast accommodation, a list of which may be found on page 4 of the catalogue.

PEDIGREE CERTIFICATES - Will be available on sale day.

CONDITIONS OF SALE - Sold under the conditions of sale subject to the Livestock Auctioneers Association.

METHOD OF SALE - All sheep will be sold in guineas (105 pence) and strictly in catalogue order, unless any alteration is announced by the Auctioneers.

COMMISSIONS - The Auctioneers will dutifully execute commissions to purchase for buyers unable to attend the sale personally, upon receipt of written instructions.

SETTLEMENT AND CLEARANCE OF STOCK - Settlement in full is due immediately at the close of Sale. No animal may leave the Sale Premises without an official ‘Pass Slip’, obtainable only from the Auctioneers upon settlement.

Having established the “Jewitt” Flock in 2006 and the “Sunnybank” Flock latterly in 2017. We now run twos flock with a total of 60 Pedigree Beltex ewes along with recipient ewes. We have on offer the best genetics from the heart of the flock and some of best family lines in the breed, along with top quality imported genetics from Belgium. We have a range of pedigree outfits, recipients and embryo lambs, along with empty shearling gimmers for sale with something to suit everyone.

The flock has had a lot of success in the show ring, winning championships at many shows at local and national level, along with winning many red tickets at “Royal” Shows over the years.
