The processing characteristics may vary depending on the application technology used as well as at differing feed speeds, which can affect the bonding process. Customer trials are required.

The compound properties and the respective reverse primer coating of the edgeband materials have to be tested for application suitability in all cases before use.

Characteristics / Directions: High hot tack, good adhesion and good heat resistance. Good resistance to oxidation and colour stability in the melt. Very good mechanical processing characteristics with accurate string-free hot melt application.

Characteristics: Rakoll hot melt adhesives K4/570 is an EVA based synthetic adhesive with good working properties that can be used on edge banders. The adhesive melts and flows well. It is clean in use and non-stringing. Hot melt adhesive k4/570 exhibits good bonding properties in connection with decorative laminate edge strips. Customer trials are required.

AV XL Plus is a medium to fast setting medium solids single pack cross linking PVA emulsion adhesive which develops excellent bond strength, high heat resistance and humidity resistance, without catalyst addition, when dried at normal or elevated temperatures. It produces a clear non staining glue line. AV XL Plus is an excellent adhesive for cabinet and furniture assembly where high bond strengths, good water/humidity resistance and relatively short clamp times are required.

AV515 is a single component, solvent-free, thixotropic, quick setting, moisture cured polyurethane adhesive. Fully cured AV515 has an extremely strong bond with excellent resistance to water, weathering, ageing conditions. Certified to EN204 D4. AV515 is suitable for bonding porous to porous and porous to non porous substrates such as wood, plasterboard, fibrous cement, metal, EPS foam, concrete, brick, various plastics (testing is recommended) and many other common substrates providing one or two of the surfaces contain moisture. The product will not cure if there is no moisture available from the substrate. For instance if glass to glass or metal to metal is not possible.

Anchor-Weld 901 Cleaner/ Thinner can also be used as a thinner for Anchor-Weld brush, roller, and scraper grade contact adhesives.
