A Word from Public Safety

Rule 212 in our Rules and Regulations booklet is as follows:

Recreational Vehicle Exterior Winter Storage (October through May) Exterior winter storage of water vehicles (boats, wave runners, jet skis) and land vehicles (golf carts and LSVs) shall only be approved following receipt of a TLCA permit. Members shall provide vehicle registration of the proposed vehicle to be stored for approval. Exterior winter storage of water/land recreational vehicles is limited to one (1) multi-passenger water vehicle and two (2) single passenger water vehicles, or one (1) multi passenger water vehicle, one (1) single passenger water vehicle and one (1) multi passenger land vehicle, or one (1) multi passenger water vehicle and two (2) golf carts per developed property. Only vehicles registered to the member or the member’s immediate family shall be stored on member property. Where possible, vehicles shall be placed on the driveway, at the side or rear of the property out of sight of the road. All vehicle storage on undeveloped property is prohibited. Removable tarps used to cover stored vehicles shall be brown or dark green in color.

Where possible, storage of large recreational vehicles (campers, motor homes) on member property shall be placed at the side or rear of the property. Permits for short term guest recreational vehicle parking not to exceed 14 days may be granted by the Community Manager. Use of the recreational vehicle for overnight lodging is prohibited. Fine $100.00.
