I hope everyone is staying warm and doing their best to get through these long winter days. I’m sure by the time this article is published, we will all be looking forward to Spring and what follows. I would like to take the opportunity to mention the great job PFCC staff is doing for our association. The Holiday Party, Santa Brunch, New Year’s Day Brunch, Trivia Night and Valentine’s Weekend were all a great success! I encourage you to come out and enjoy the activities and experience the fun and social aspects of our great community. I’ve always felt, every dollar you spend in our community is a dollar benefiting the health and vitality of our association. In addition, I would like to thank our committee members for their participation and volunteering their time to provide feedback, ideas and direction for Management and The Board of Directors. This year, we have three active committees, including Long Range Planning, Golf and Recreation. I recommend reviewing the committee minutes and other information on the PFCC website as a way to stay abreast of activities and progress in the community. I would especially recommend reviewing our financial statements and 2022 budget, which can provide great insight into the community’s strengths and challenges. The health of an association is directly reflective of member participation, addressing issues important to the community, diversity of ideas, short and long term planning, and socializing with members in the community. We’re very lucky to have a strong management team and staff to guide our organization and continue to build a strong foundation for the future. In closing, I wish everyone a very Happy New Year and a successful and healthy 2022.
