Caring For The Course

A few extra seconds is all it takes to help keep the course looking and playing its best!

Ball Mark Repair

A ball mark repair tool is recommended, but other pointed devices can also be used. Start from the back and sides, gently push and stretch the turf toward the center. Avoid lifting and twisting the turf. Use your putter to slightly tap down the mark. Remember that the ball marks are often far from where the ball lies, so check the front of the green. Fix your ball mark and the marks of others.

Divot Repair

Replacing the divot is the best option, assuming that the divot has some soil attached. Without soil, the divot quickly dries out and it will be pulled out of the ground during the next mowing. If the divot cannot be replaced, fill the divot with material provided by the maintenance staff. Do not overfill divots, this results in a sand mound that can dull or damage the mowing units.

With a few short and east steps, you can help to keep our course beautiful all season long!
