2023 Board Of Directors Election Candidates

Meet the candidates who have decided to run for the 2023 Board of Director’s election. Each year you, as a Pocono Farms homeowner, have the opportunity and the responsibility to select those of your fellow members who will serve youon our Board of Directors. You have a voice in your Association and its future through our Board of Directors. Take this opportunity to inform yourself, and then vote for the candidates who you believe will be the best people to work with OUR other Board members to guide our Association towards the future.

Inna Piscitello

OCCUPATION: Administrative Coordinator

COMMITTEES, CLUBS, VOLUNTEER WORK & OTHER ACTIVITIES PARTICIPATED IN: I have been actively involved in various committees, clubs and volunteer work throughout my career. At Rockefeller University, I am a member of the IAS and Women’s Committee, where we focus on organizing seminars and talks to promote scientific collaboration across departments. I am an active member of the working parent’s group, where we discuss ways to support balance.

SKILLS, TALENTS, OR SPECIALIZED TRAINING: I possess a range of skills and specialized training. My extensive background in finance. I have skills in budgeting, financial management and fiscal responsibility. I possess skills as a Fraud Investigator and have a keen eye for detail and deep understanding of the importance of compliance and regulations.

MOTIVATION FOR SEEKING SEAT ON THE BOARD: I am motivated to seek a seat on the Board of Directors because I believe in the importance of preserving and caring for our community.

BOARD INFLUENCE & DIRECTION / GOVERNANCE OF COMMUNITY: As a Board Member, I would like to focus on improving community engagement and communication. I believe that transparency is essential for building trust and ensuring that the community’s needs are being met. Additionally, I would like to advocate for environmentally responsible practices and support initiatives that promote sustainability.

WHY SHOULD THE MEMBERSHIP ELECT ME: Based on my skills, and passion for the community, I believe I would be an excellent candidate for the Board of Directors. My extensive experience in leadership positions, as well as my knowledge of community development and planning would allow me to make informed decisions and provide valuable insight to The Board.

COMMITTEES, CLUBS, VOLUNTEER WORK & OTHER ACTIVITIES PARTICIPATED IN: Board of Directors 15 Years. Treasurer 2 years, President 3 years, Golf Committee Chairman 2 years, Liaison to Finance, House, Fitness, Crimewatch and Golf Committees, Member ad hoc committees for building Fitness Center.

SKILLS, TALENTS, OR SPECIALIZED TRAINING: VP National Property Insurance Co., Executive VP Insurance Brokerage. Negotiated on a daily basis with CFOs and CEOs of Fortune 1000 companies. These skills transfer to running of a community association.

MOTIVATION FOR SEEKING SEAT ON THE BOARD: Improvement in improving financial position as well as asset improvement needs to continue. I wish to be part of that.

BOARD INFLUENCE & DIRECTION / GOVERNANCE OF COMMUNITY: Maintain financial strength.

WHY SHOULD THE MEMBERSHIP ELECT ME: I have a good understanding of guiding the community in the direction the majority of our members desire.
