RFPs & Materials The Locust Lake Village (LLV) Road Repair Plan for 2018 is underway, but it will be a few months before any work will be noticeable. Vital initial steps have been taken with the issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to five area contractors. “So far we’re ahead of the game,” said Steve Marga, chair of Locust Lake Village’s (LLV) Roads Committee, referring to the committee’s efforts to secure before spring cost estimates from contractors. “According to the stipulations

He began with a stark but firm reminder to LLV: “We are a multimillion dollar business. We are truly running a business with $1.9 million in our operating budget and $1.585 million in reserve.”

“We said we would make changes back in August,” Burchell said. “We are making changes for the benefit of the community and holding personnel accountable.” Burchell pointed to significant accomplishments that the current board has accomplished: Christmas bonuses to LLV employees; job performance bonuses; Thanksgiving turkeys for employees; cost of living raises; Security Ranger staff compensation increases of one dollar per hour; appointment of a Security
