Hello everybody! Welcome to the hottest month of the year … August! It’s already been a hot summer and I’m, sure August will be the same. Many club owners and managers take a trip this month to the annual Exotic Dancer Expo that will be held in New Orleans. Our area has two clubs up for national honors … Thee Doll House in Tampa and Brass Flamingo in Port Richey. NightMoves wants to wish them both good luck and hope they bring trophies back to the Bay area!

Speaking of Award Shows, this year we will host our 24th annual NightMoves Awards.

We are the third oldest adult awards show in the United States trailing only the AVN Awards that are held in Las Vegas and the industry only XRCO Awards that take place in Los Angeles. Looking back, it’s amazing how many major stars have been to our show …

Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, Gina Lynn, Lisa Ann, Jesse Jane, Bree Olson, Alexis Texas, Julia Ann and of course for 23 consecutive years … Ron Jeremy! No other city in the world has anything like our unique weekend and I hope you take advantage of that fact this October 6-9.

Andrew Rock, Lenny Mumbles and myself will be taking a trip to Houston, Texas this month to help our sister publication “Houston NightMoves” host their convention. The Texxxas Expo will take place August 17-20 and should be one hell of a party! Look for a full recap in our September issue.

Lastly, I hope you want to say that we have a few 4-somes left for our 2nd Big Hole Bikini Golf Classic that will take place Sunday August 28 at Lansbrook Golf Course. Trust me when I say this is a golf tournament different than any golf tournament you’ve ever seen!

Our first one was plagued by Mother Nature with wind, rain and cold temperatures but we are looking for a great afternoon on the 28th.

It’s hard to believe that our Awards Show is almost here! I have been super busy booking stars, creating flyers, talking to travel agents and putting together our 24th Annual NightMoves Awards. This year has been exciting to say the least!

We will welcome our stars to Tampa Bay Thursday October 6 when we travel to 4-Play Gentlemen’s Club. The next night we return to Holiday, Florida at Bare Assets. Saturday afternoon (10/8) we will once again host “Fan Fest” and that evening we visit Thee Doll House. All of these events are fanfriendly and you will have the chance to meet our stars up close and personal.

Last year we set a record and received just under 400,000 votes. Our goal this year is to beat that number and we need your help to do that. Please go online and vote for your favorite local club, dancer, DJ or bartender … if you watch adult movies please vote for your favorite actor, actress, director or movie.

We added 4 new categories this year: Best Ethnic Series, Best On-Line Presence, Pleasure Product of the Year and Pleasure Company of the Year. Last month was the most contestants at the contest with 13 amateurs who gave their all to impress the judges and the audience. After the final round the votes were in. The beautiful Dallas was the winner.

Around Town A.J. APPLEGATE AT THEE DOLL HOUSE! July 22-23 were the dates that adult superstar A.J. Applegate graced Thee Doll House stage and put on a great act. AJ was voted “Best Butt” at last year’s NightMoves Awards and is once again nominated in that category. She is also nominated in the “Best Feature Performer” category this year.

A true film star, AJ had the crowd in the palm of her hand as she got up close and personal with everybody around the stage. AJ is part of Thee Doll House’s “Summer of Stars” that also features Rubber Doll (August 12-13) and Bonnie Rotten (September 16-17). Juan and Amandha, are a couple on a getaway to the Amalfi Coast, a resort area in the Salerno province of southern Italy. It opens with a bit of a travelogue feel, and then they check into the hotel as we get to see some of the characters who will be involved in their lives.

Several incidents will take place testing their love for one another. There is a young horsewoman being photographed and becomes part of the surprises. There are a couple of girlfriends, who we meet in the hotel restaurant where Juan and Amandha have dinner. There is a very sexy waitress and a well dressed gent of charm.

As dinner progresses Juan tells Amandha about meeting the guys with the woman being photographed, Alexandra, a model.

The next day the couple goes sightseeing and Amandha crosses paths with the well dressed man a couple times. Juan wants to take a break and get a drink while Amandha wants to keep looking at the sights. Who shows up but the man and next thing you know she goes with him for a good romp ending in an explosive deep throat finish.

There is a lot more in store for this couple that is yet to come that will make their getaway memorable.

While this is an all European/ Italian cast the dialogue is in English. The cinematography is tremendous with visuals of the area to make it more than just a porn film. It is couples friendly with some sizzling sex scenes. It is total adult entertainment and enjoyment that I definitely recommend.

Around Town EmpErors Hosts CHristmas in July Well the weather outside is frightful with the current heat wave all over the United States. At Tampa Emperors it was nice and cold and festive for their Christmas in July. It felt just like the holiday with a big Christmas tree, presents, flat screen tv give - away, a gourmet buffet and beautiful entertainers dressed in their Christmas outfits. The staff at Tampa Emperors made sure it was a festive night and that everyone in the club had a great time.
