Game prep: In your Adventure Scattergories pad, you will find category lists, answer sheets and alphabet letters. Remove the alphabet letter page, cut the letters out and use your empty date box to shuffle the letters that will determine the fate of your game.

Distribute one category list, answer sheet and pencil to each player and get a timer ready.

O bj ec t : Beat the timer by filling out a category list with answers that begin with the chosen letter. Score points if no other player matches your answers. To win the game, score the most points.

Adventure

Oftentimes, the word “adventure“ brings to mind images of wild excursions and faraway destinations. And for most people, that’s not realistic! We’d like to redefine adventure. Maybe your adventure doesn’t have to be traditional—maybe it means agreeing to put your phones down for a few hours, participating in a local 5k or simply trying something new together. Adventure doesn’t have to be grand to be special, especially if you have the right person beside you.

Locate your included display stand, “Let’s Adventure” printable and dry erase marker. Begin by placing the printable in the frame. Then, place your frame in a spot you see every day, perhaps next to the kitchen sink, near your keys or in your master bath.

Take a minute to discuss what you would like your next adventure to be, whether big or small, and use your dry erase marker to write it on the stand. Allow the stand to be an everyday reminder that life is never too busy for adventures with your loved one. After you’ve completed your adventure, brainstorm a new one!
