¿De dónde sois?

Hablemos de ¨Saga¨. ¿Cómo se inició el proyecto y cuál es el concepto detrás de esto?

La idea de Saga se produjo muy orgánicamente después de tocar aquí en Ibiza durante los últimos años. Siempre sentimos que incluso sin palabras, nuestra música necesita contar una historia. Para nosotros esta fue la manera perfecta de presentar nuestra primera residencia en la isla, con 18 capítulos musicales diferentes apoyados por una producción especial inmersiva y un diseño surrealista.

¿Por qué elegisteis Heart como vuestra residencia semanal?

Elegimos Heart para Saga por el increíble sentido de creatividad del equipo. Queríamos crear algo más que una fiesta ordinaria y sabíamos que este era el lugar perfecto para hacerlo.

¿Cómo definiríais el sonido de Saga?

El sonido de Saga viene de toda la música que nos gusta tocar como Bedouin en nuestros DJ sets. Todos los artistas que hemos invitado a tocar han sido invitados porque nos gusta no sólo su producción, sino también su capacidad de pinchar.

¿Qué artistas vais a invitar durante este verano?

Tenemos la suerte de estar rodeados de inspiración de todos los diferentes lugares donde vamos y la gente que conocemos.

Where are you from? Brooklyn New York.

Let`s talk about ¨Saga¨. How did the project start and what`s the concept behind it?

The idea of Saga came about very organically after playing here in Ibiza the last few years. We always felt that even without words, our music needs to tell a story. For us this was the perfect way to present our first residency on the island, with 18 different musical chapters supported by immersive special production and surrealistic layout.

Why did you choose Heart as your weekly home?

We chose Heart for Saga because of the team’s amazing sense of creativity. We wanted to create more than a usual party and we knew this was the perfect place to do it.

How would you define the Saga sound?

T he sound f or Saga stems from all the music we love to play as Bedouin in our DJ sets. All the ar tists we have invited to play have been invited because we love not only their production but their DJ ability as well.

What`s your biggest inspiration this summer?

We are fortunate to be surrounded by inspiration from all the different places we go and people we meet.

Do you have any new releases coming out? Yes, we have 2 EPs coming out this year as well as a few remixes. One EP will be on Crosstown Rebels and the other on All Day I Dream.

What are your next goals?

Right now we are heavily focused on our shows this summer and the new music we are working on.

Yo estaba muy determinado y me convertí en un dueño/operador aquí en Ibiza simplemente siguiendo mi sueño.

La isla no ha cambiado en si misma; Ibiza todavía es Ibiza, sólo se ha evolucionado. La evolución es un hecho de la vida que tiene que ser aceptada y entendida porque no va a desaparecer.

Quiero que esta temporada sea fabulosa para todos que viven, trabajan y visitan la isla. Mis mejores recuerdos de Ibiza son casarme en un barco al lado de Es Vedra y mis dos hijos nacidos aquí. Siempre he sido aventurero y trabajador - una combinación que es una buena señal en los negocios. Soy bueno en ver oportunidades y hacerlas suceder. Algunas sirven y otras no, pero eso es lo que es ser un emprendedor. Soy un hombre de negocios en la medida en que hago negocios, pero nunca me he centrado exclusivamente en ganar dinero. Mi objetivo principal es crear grandes cosas y el éxito financiero es una consecuencia feliz de hacer eso.

I was just very determined and became an owner/ operator here in Ibiza simply by following my dream.

The Island has not changed as such; Ibiza is still Ibiza, it’s just evolved. Evolution is a fact of life that has to be embraced and understood because it’s not going away. I want this season to be fabulous for everybody that lives, works and visits the island. My best Ibiza memories are getting married on a boat beside Es Vedra and my two children being born here. I have always been adventurous and hardworking – a combination which bodes well in business. I am good at seeing opportunities and making them happen. Some work and some don’t, but that’s what being an entrepreneur is all about. I am a businessman insomuch as I do business, but I’ve never focused exclusively on making money. Permanecer auténtico es una necesidad absoluta en la industria de la hospitalidad. Simplemente no puedes hacer este trabajo pretendiendo ser algo que no eres. Tienes que amar a la gente realmente, crecer en proporcionar una experiencia excepcional y sumergirte completamente en el estilo de vida.

Staying authentic is an absolute must in the hospitality industry. You simply cannot do this job by pretending to be something you are not. You have to genuinely love people, thrive on providing an outstanding experience and immerse yourself completely in the lifestyle.

El consejo que le daría a alguien que quiera abrir un negocio en Ibiza es primero mudarse aquí, vivir en la isla y luego encontrar su posición de nicho en la sociedad de Ibiza. He visto tanta gente venir aquí, se lanzan al ruedo y entonces pierden todo.

The advice I would give to someone who wants to open a business in Ibiza is to first move here, live on the island and then find your niche position within Ibiza society. I have seen so many people come here, throw themselves in at the deep end and consequently lose everything.

Estoy en la escena de la fiesta desde 1988. Primero en Londres y luego aquí en Ibiza en los años 90, así que es inevitable que se conozca el DJ o productor de la música que estás bailando. También trabajar en la hospitalidad y ser dueño de lugares establece vínculos con todo tipo de personas diferentes de varias áreas de la industria. Todos tenemos un respeto mutuo el uno por el otro. Me encanta el hecho de que algunos de los DJs de mis primeros tiempos todavía siguen fuertes. ¡La longevidad en la escena nocturna no es fácil!

I have been out and about on the party scene since 1988. First in London and then here in Ibiza in the 90s, so it’s inevitable that you get to know whose music you’re dancing to. Also working in hospitality and owning venues bonds you with all sorts of different people from different areas of the industry. We all have a mutual respect for each other. I love the fact that some of the DJs from my early days are still going strong today. Longevity in the nocturnal scene is not easy!

Mis planes para el verano son pasar más tiempo con mi familia, tomar una pausa atrevida durante 7 días en un barco en Croacia y, por el resto del tiempo, ¡trabajar muy duro en Es Vivé!

My plans for the summer are to spend some more time with my family, take a cheeky break for 7 days on a boat in Croatia and, for the rest of the time, work very hard on Es Vivé!

Creo que son enormemente importantes en este día y época. Los medios sociales son una manera para que las empresas establezcan contactos con su clientela y la clientela establezca contactos entre ellos. Aquellos que no usan los medios sociales personalmente, o por negocios, no tienen que preocuparse por ellos en absoluto.

I think it’s massively important in this day and age. Social media is a way for businesses to connect with their clientele and the clientele to connect with each other. Those that aren’t using social media personally, or for business, have to not give a damn about it at all.

Me encanta Salinas, pero una vez que llegan momentos de mucho trabajo en EsVivé no voy allí tanto como me gustaría.

I love Salinas, but don’t get to go there as much as I would like once things get busy at Es Vivé.

The Ibiza Food Tours concept is to take you to 8-10 carefully selected locations where you get to savour the speciality, some typical of Ibiza and some of Spain along with learning about the history and stories behind each mouthful. Visiting the markets and independent locations you get to meet the owners, see the passion behind the foods and where the idea came from. Boris who was one of the chefs at the world famous Michelin starred Nobu restaurant now lives on Ibiza and we are very thankful for that, as one of the visits on our evening tour is to his home at a secret location to try his version of tapas for the 20th century, Boris goes to the market to select and prepare a special dish using local ingredients - a real unique treat. For 2017 we now offer 2 tours, a 3 hour and a 5 hour food tour around Ibiza town. So you can choose the one to suit your day. They start at 10.30 or 17.00. Mi aventura comenzó hace cuatro años, cuando la compañía tenía sólo 4 barcos. Desde entonces crecimos rápidamente y en sólo tres años nos convertimos en la mayor compañía chárter de Ibiza. Ahora nuestra flota consta de 45 barcos y está creciendo. Estoy muy contenta y orgullosa de haber sido parte de este viaje.

My adventure started four years ago, when the company had only 4 boats. Since then we grew rapidly and in only three years we became the biggest charter company in Ibiza. Now our fleet consists of 45 boats and is growing. I am very pleased and proud to have been a part of this journey.

Tenemos una amplia flota de barcos a motor, entre 7 y 27 metros de largo.Todos los barcos han sido completamente remodelados en los últimos dos años - nuevo color, nueva tapicería, teca etc. - tienen un aspecto atractivo y brillante para la temporada 2017. Nuestra empresa hermana Smart Yachting se encarga de todos los reajustes - es muy útil tener nuestros propios mecánicos, pintores, tapiceros.

We have a wide fleet of motor boats, between 7 and 27 meters long. All boats have been fully refit over the last two years – new color, new upholstery, teak etc. – they look sexy and shiny for season 2017. ¿Cómo organizáis vuestras excursiones How do you organize your tours and which is your favourite? y cuál es tu favorita? Siempre damos a los clientes la libertad de decidir dónde quieren ir durante su viaje. Para los visitantes primerizos a Formentera, sugerimos hacer lo que yo llamo un día clásico a Formentera. En un día típico salimos del puerto de Ibiza siguiendo su impresionante costa hasta Formentera. Justo antes de Formentera está la desierta isla de S’Espalmador. Una tierra totalmente intacta frente la costa de la isla de Formentera con dunas de arena blanca y aguas cristalinas. Un gran lugar para tomar el sol de verano, ¡o tomar un buen chapuzón en el mar! Luego cruzaremos por la playa de Illetes, donde podremos parar en uno de los hermosos bares de playa de Formentera y disfrutar de una excelente cocina con los pies en la arena acompañados de unos tranquilos Balearic beats (podemos ayudaros con consejos y reservar una mesa para vosotros). Después del almuerzo, podríamos seguir por la costa sur hasta Cala Saona, un lugar ideal para practicar esnórquel y explorar. Llegar a Cap Des Falco es una buena manera de terminar el día, un impresionante acantilado en el extremo sur de Ibiza... ¡¿tal vez ir a tierra y tomar un mojito?!

We always give clients the freedom to decide where they want to go during their charter. For Formentera's first time comers we suggest to do what I call a classic day out to Formentera. On a typical day we leave from Ibiza port following its stunning coastline to Formentera. Just before Formentera is the desert island of S’Espalmador. A totally unspoilt island just off shore from Formentera with white sand dunes and crystal waters. A great spot to soak up the summer sun or take a nice leisurely dip in the sea! We would then cruise onto Illetes beach, where you can stop off at one of Formentera's beautiful beach bars, and enjoy some excellent cuisine with your feet in the sand accompanied by some tranquil Balearic beats (we can help advise and book a table for you). After lunch we could drive further down the southern coast to Cala Saona, a great place to snorkel and explore. Getting to Cap Des Falco is a good way to end the day, a stunning cliff face on the Southern point of Ibiza… perhaps go ashore and grab a mojito?!

Desde nuestra experiencia la industria de alquiler de yates ha evolucionado y es una de las cosas que hay que hacer al visitar Ibiza. From our experience the yacht charter industry has evolved and it is one of must dos when visiting Ibiza. El 21 de junio entramos en el Solsticio de Verano, donde el sol alcanza el cénit de su fuerza. Es un momento muy fogoso, creativo y de celebración. El verano es la estación de la acción, crecimiento y maduración de los frutos. Está representada por el elemento Fuego, el Sol y la dirección Sur, el calor. Son momentos de integrar y digerir las ideas o semillas que plantamos en primavera. En verano rige el meridiano del corazón y el intestino delgado. Ambos pasan por la línea interna del brazo desde el dedo meñique (corazón) y la externa (intestino delgado) respectivamente. El corazón es el centro del Ser. Bombea la sangre a todo el organismo y dirige toda la energía y su ritmo es lo que da vida. El Intestino delgado absorbe y asimila lo digerido en el estómago. Lo mismo pasa con cualquier información, emoción, vivencia o creencia. Si el Qi de este meridiano fluye libremente sentimos vitalidad, alegría, júbilo y amor incondicional. Si está estancado podemos sentir cansancio, depresión, odio, soledad y falta de claridad en nuestro rumbo. Aquí expongo algunos ejercicios para activar el Qi (energía vital) en este meridiano. On 21st June we enter into the Summer Solstice, where the sun is at the zenith of its strength. It is a very fiery, creative and celebratory moment. Summer is the season of action, growth and fruit ripening. It is represented by the element Fire, the Sun and the Cardinal direction of South, the heat. These are moments of integrating and digesting the ideas or seeds we plant in the spring. The heart meridian and the small intestine govern this season. Both pass through the inner line of the arm from the little finger (heart) and the outer line (small intestine), respectively. The heart is the centre of Being. It pumps blood to the whole organism and directs all energy, and its rhythm is what gives life.The small intestine absorbs and assimilates what is digested in the stomach. The same happens with any information, emotion, experience or belief. If the Qi of this meridian flows freely, we feel vitality, happiness, joy and unconditional love. If it is stagnant, we can feel tiredness, depression, hatred, loneliness and lack of clarity in our path. Here you can see some exercises for the meridian activation of this Qi (vital energy). Can Jordi Blues Station, un lugar donde se para el tiempo y se vive el presente… de fondo suena un viejo blues y de repente la magia lo envuelve todo. Originariamente esta pequeña tienda-bar de carretera conocida como “CAN JORDI”, se encuentra situada en el kilómetro 8 de la carretera Ibiza-San José, y ha sido bautizada con el nombre de CAN JORDI BLUES STATION, por la diversidad de conciertos y exposiciones de arte que se organizan allí. “Vicent, el alma del lugar”, ha querido continuar con el negocio que su familia adquirió el año 1940, conservando la tradición y las costumbres ibicencas, con un toque de blues y rock ‘n’ roll y todo ello a precios populares. Él se describe como un simple “botiguer” (tendero), pero todo el mundo sabe que Vicent, tiene dos pasiones; la música y CAN JORDI BLUES STATION. El culto al arte y a la música ha encontrado su rincón en este pequeño establecimiento. Los viernes por la noche y los sábados al mediodía, se convierte en escenario de conciertos, donde podemos llegar a encontrar artistas de talla internacional que improvisan una jam session, o variedad de artistas locales, que nos ofrecen un magnífico concierto de blues, rock, jazz e incluso se ha llegado a escuchar a un coro de góspel.

La mesa de obreros, tiene una cita diaria en CJBS después de su jornada laboral. Es su punto de encuentro, unos bocadillos, unas cervezas y unas risas, que mejor manera de acabar el día.

Hay algo en que toda esta variedad de gente coincide. Todos opinan que CAN JORDI BLUES STATION es un lugar auténtico, diferente y sencillo a la vez, se sienten como en casa, el trato es agradable y solo tienen palabras de admiración hacia su propietario, Vicent. Vicent, con auténtica alma de Blues, es un perfecto Night&Day ha querido saber más. ¿Qué está pasando anfitrión, le apasiona la música y tiene la oportunidad, realmente en CAN JORDI BLUES STATION? Y es por a través de su humilde establecimiento, de compartir ello que hemos querido hablar con la clientela… su pasión con todos nosotros. Nos encontramos en la terraza y vemos una bonita mezcla de gente de todo tipo y condición, gente Como siempre hacemos nuestra pregunta de rigor: mayor ibicenca tomando su copita de la tarde, unos “Vicent, ¿are you NIGHT or DAY?” Y nos contesta su hippies, algunos tomando té otros con su cerveza, novia, entre risas, que totalmente de ambos, ¡porque unos obreros que acaban de salir de trabajar, unos no para ni un solo momento!

Can Jordi Blues Station, a place where time stops and you live the present... in the background an old blues is playing and suddenly magic pervades everything. Originally this small road shop-bar known as "CAN JORDI", is located at km 8 on the Ibiza – San Jose road, and has been christened with the name CAN JORDI BLUES STATION, for the diversity of concerts and art exhibitions organised there.

"Pep Tumàs" who is sitting with the group of older people, tells us that CJBS is an important meeting point, where you feel like at home, and that its owner is a great person that gives life to the area. "Carlos, the hippy", finds in this place the purity of the island and compares it to the old Ibiza, the one we really long for in our hearts.

“Vicent, life and soul of the place”, wanted to continue the business that his family acquired in 1940, preserving the tradition and the Ibizan customs, with a touch of blues and rock 'n' roll, all at popular prices. He describes himself as a simple "botiguer" (shopkeeper), but everyone knows that Vicent has two passions; music and CAN JORDI BLUES STATION. The cult of art and music has found its place in this small bar. On Friday nights and Saturdays at noon, it becomes a concert venue, where you can find international artists improvising a jam session, or a variety of local artists, who offer us a magnificent blues, rock, jazz concert, even a gospel choir came to perform here.

"Nacho", an Argentinean in love with the island, seeks in CJBS moments of peace and relaxation after his workday, a ritual that helps him enjoy the present, and defines it as a Teatro Pereyra (another authentic place on the island) "but in the open air". The workers have a daily appointment at CJBS after their workday. It's their meeting point; some snacks, some beers and some laughs, what better way to end the day.

Night&Day wanted to find out more. What is really happening in CAN JORDI BLUES STATION? That's why we wanted to talk to its customers... We meet on the terrace and see a nice mix of people of all types and conditions, older people from Ibiza having their afternoon drink, some hippies, some people drinking tea and others beer, some others who have just finished working, some foreigners engaged in a cheerful conversation or simply dreamy

Trystan declaró: “Soy muy feliz con mi cuerpo “Trans”, estoy contento por ser un hombre que tiene un útero y la capacidad de tener un bebe”... ¡Nos ha jodido! ¡Claro que está contento! Lo que quiero decir con todo esto es que ni ellos deberían ser una noticia ni yo debería estar perdiendo el tiempo escribiendo sobre esto. Para mi no tiene más importancia que la que tiene. Una pareja de fantásticos seres humanos que se quieren y han decidido tener un hijo que seguramente harán muy feliz…¡o no! ¡Da igual! pero lo han hecho libres y luchando contra muchos muros que ayudarán a que un día todos lo veamos con “NORMALIDAD”. Me doy cuenta de mi suerte al haber recibido la educación adecuada para ver con “NORMALIDAD” a los demás sea cual sea su realidad. La gente debe empezar a meditar sobre esto y dar pasos firmes hacia adelante. No soy tolerante ante la intolerancia. Todas las personas que por su condición sexual puedan ser miradas, observadas y en consecuencia víctimas de estigmas y susurros tienen mi más sincero apoyo y siempre encontrarán mi mano tendida. Al leer el titular de este artículo muchos se habrán parado por el reclamo sexual. Quizás decepcionados al no leer nada que os la ponga dura... Sick of hearing people ask or insinuate for their sexual tendencies, putting a name to everything. From all kinds of people's mouth, people from different social and professional status. But why does anyone have to answer such a question?! The answer is very clear, but we still aren't ready to accept and understand that in this wonderful game everything is worth and that "NORMALITY" would be the final prize. This goes for all invented groups; gays, straight, lesbians, bi-gender, androgynous and thus up to 31 sexual identities that the surrealist and ridiculous list of the NYC Commission on Human Rights has recently released. Please leave the small group in which you have gotten in! Please decide to be someone without labels and start looking at others in the same way. It's a shame that transgender girls are stigmatized and their families have to go through a torture. It's a pity that we don't educate children in schools to look at others with "NORMALITY", whatever their development and identity. Those who applaud or educate badly their offspring in favour of any kind of social abuse against the free evolution of the person should have their parents' card removed. Educating so that the men of the future can see with "NORMALITY" the married couple Trystan Reese and Biff Chaplow, whose story is going

Trystan said: "I am very happy with my "Trans" body", I am happy to be a man who has a uterus and the ability to have a baby"... Fucked if he is! Of course he is happy! What I mean by all this is that neither should they be news nor should I be wasting time writing about it. For me it has no more importance than the one it has. A couple of fantastic human beings who love each other and have decided to have a baby that will surely make them happy... oh no! It doesn't matter! But they have made it freely and fighting against many walls that one day will help us all see it with "NORMALITY". I realise how lucky I am to have received the appropriate education to look at the others with "NORMALITY", whatever their reality is. People should start meditating on this and take firm steps forward. I am not tolerant of intolerance. All people that because of their sexuality might be looked at, observed and therefore be victims of stigma and rumours have my most sincere support and will always find my hand outstretched. When reading the title of this article many of you may have stopped to read because of its sexual claim. You may be disappointed for not reading anything that turns you on... I am sorry that this article is not about sex, but about "NORMALITY".

Estimados lectores, aquí estoy otra vez, con esta nueva columna para hablar de psicología. Me acerco a Willy Pasini para pedir su autógrafo con uno de sus muchos libros. Él me seduce cuando en un instante se convierte en un poeta y con un juego de palabras, coloca una línea sinuosa al añadir al título "Detrás de la belleza" veneciana, está Antonella. Veneto es una parte del norte de Italia, la tierra que me une a Christian Dori. La sorpresa me lleva al centro de otro mundo, respiro, me alimento de la dedicatoria y saboreo este privilegio. La seducción está ahí y no puedes verla, el secreto está en la contradicción. A través de los siglos, ha sido ensombrecida con misterio y mitos. En los modelos culturales masculinos están el aventurero veneciano Casanova y Don Juan, este último sólo existía en la literatura. El primero amaba a las mujeres, todas sin distinción, aristócratas y plebeyas, bellas y feas, mientras que el segundo las odiaba y seducía para destruirlas. Mientras que reflexionamos, no olvidemos que una Venus, como en una pintura renacentista de Botticelli, encanta, pero no destruye como las sirenas de Ulises, y que Casanova es preferible a un Don Juan ya que, aunque sea por un corto tiempo, realmente ama. Esta columna pretende traer un poco de claridad sobre la vida psíquica que anima los momentos de nuestras vidas y de los que a menudo no somos conscientes. Espero consejos, indicaciones y preguntas que, juntos, vamos a tratar de aclarar.

As we reflect, let's not forget that Venus, as in a Botticelli's Renaissance painting, charms but does not annihilate like Ulysses' Sirens, and that a Casanova is preferable to a Don Giovanni since, though for a short time, he really loves. This column wants to bring some clarity to the psychic life that animates the moments of our life and which we are often unaware of it. Absolutamente sí. Cuando, hace casi treinta años, fundé la Federación Europea de Sexología (EFS) España fué uno de sus principales exponentes.

En tema de amor, entre los perfumes de Formentera y los fuegos artificiales de la isla, el más seductor sigue siendo sin duda el flechazo: Cupido con su flecha golpea principalmente a aquellos que vienen a pasar sus vacaciones aquí. ¿Nos podrías explicar lo que sucede?

En el amor a primera vista existe una ilusión. Es decir, él que te hace sentir mariposas en el estómago, las manos mojadas y otros síntomas, en realidad no està. Es como el “reflejo” de una persona que tienes dentro y que se despierta por esta persona que por analogías te atrajo. No mantengas nunca un vínculo duradero relacionado con un flechazo, ya que éste puede durar sólo si la otra persona está lejos, alimentando esa ilusión en su cabeza.

Estos marcadores somáticos, junto con la aceleración del latido cardíaco son provocados también por las emociones relacionadas con el enamoramiento. ¿Cuál es la diferencia?

Estas tensiones somáticas conciernen a ambas y el flechazo puede convertirse en enamoramiento. En el enamoramiento no hay la ilusión, sino sólo la idealización. El Otro o la Otra está idealizado/a, se ve con todas las cualidades y ningún defecto. El enamoramiento da mucha energía y es una necesidad que surge durante las vacaciones, por ejemplo, porque se está fuera del entorno habitual. Love at first sight is an illusion. This means that who makes you feel butterflies in your stomach, wet hands and other symptoms is really not there. He or she is the “hanger” of a person you have inside and is renewed by analogy by the person who struck you. Never have a lasting bond started with love at first sight because it can last only if the other person is far away from you. In this way both of them can continue the illusion on their own mind.

These somatic markers, along with heart rate acceleration, are also triggered by love-related emotions. What's the difference?

These somatic tensions affect both of them and love at first sight can turn into falling in love. There is no illusion in falling in love, but idealisation. The Other Man or the Other Woman is idealised, he/she is seen with all his/her qualities and no flaws. Falling in love gives a lot of energy and it is a need that starts on vacation, for example, because it is out of one’s usual environment. Quieren que la energía que se crea en estas fiestas y que atrae a tantas personas a Ibiza, sirva para ayudar a proteger nuestro entorno. La mejor arma que poseen para su lucha por la Naturaleza es su entregadísimo equipo de voluntarios que trabajan en los diferentes eventos informando al público de manera divertida y poniendo mucho amor por lo que hacen. Servicio veterinario para emergencias de animales marinos. Colaboración con el CREM (centro de recuperación de especies marinas) con la preservación del caballito de mar. Colaboración con la Fundación Paseo de los Monos, mejorando la calidad de vida de los animales que se encuentran en un centro de acogida de vida silvestre en Ecuador. THE NATURE PROJECT trabaja diariamente en la búsqueda de nuevas acciones a las que apoyar y la creación de sorprendentes e innovadoras maneras de proteger el medioambiente. A principios de mayo, Microsoft llevó a cabo un evento dedicado al mundo de los estudiantes, durante el cual presentó una nueva versión de su popular sistema operativo. Es Windows 10 S, una versión diseñada para ser instalada en los ordenadores suministrados a las escuelas y universidades. Este sistema operativo quiere competir con Chrome OS, el sistema operativo de Google que está creciendo en los dispositivos suministrados a las escuelas estadounidenses. La característica principal es que en esta versión de Windows sólo pueden ser instaladas aplicaciones del store oficial; por lo tanto, no será posible instalar el software de otras fuentes o descargados de Internet. De esta manera se ejecutarán sólo software seguros y verificados, con un aumento significativo de la seguridad y rendimiento. La desventaja, sin embargo, es la falta de aplicaciones útiles del store y de algunos elementos esenciales, tales como la Suite de Adobe (Photoshop, Premiere, etc.). Sin embargo, Microsoft aprovecha los desarrolladores para cambiar sus aplicaciones de software para el store, a través de las herramientas proporcionadas por la misma Microsoft. Así como ya lo está haciendo con la celebre suite de Office. Precisamente porque ha sido pensada para las escuelas, esta versión del sistema operativo tiene herramientas disponibles para facilitar la configuración del ordenador a través de USB; de esta manera el profesor o el encargado puede pre-cargar su equipo con propiedades y aplicaciones personalizadas. En el transcurso del evento Microsoft también dio a conocer un ordenador portátil, el tan esperado Surface Laptop.Es un ordenador altamente curado desde el punto de vista del diseño, construido íntegramente en aluminio y con un rendimiento respetable. Estará disponible a partir del 15 de junio a un precio a partir de 1.169 euros.

Sin moverte, observa tu postura. ¿Estás en una posición cómoda? ¿Estás sentado? ¿Tienes las piernas estiradas o cruzadas? ¿Estás haciendo algún esfuerzo, o sientes tensión en alguna parte de tu cuerpo? Ahora prueba a modificar tu postura para estar un poquito más cómodo... Esto es una parte importante del yoga: ser consciente de tu cuerpo. El cuerpo envía señales constantemente para expresar sus necesidades,pero frecuentemente la mente está demasiado ocupada para percibirlas. Practicando yoga se reduce el ruido mental y es más fácil prestar atención a esos mensajes. Cuando movemos el cuerpo haciendo los asanas de yoga y respirando conscientemente, activamos todos nuestros sistemas, entre ellos el sistema linfático, que es fundamental para la eliminación de desechos y toxinas, a través de los pulmones, la vejiga y la piel; además, el sistema linfático es básico para mantener en buen estado el Sistema Inmunológico, que es una verdadera barrera o armadura protectora, sin la cual estamos expuestos a todo tipo de enfermedades que pueden ir desde intolerancias alimentarias, alergias, infecciones, inflamaciones… y derivar en situaciones más graves. Yoga es el sistema de conocimiento sobre la naturaleza humana más completo, al abarcar nuestra

Hablemos ahora de nuestra querida isla de Formentera, sin duda, la más amada por los italianos para utilizar un lema ¡un poco pasado de moda de hace unos años! Sin duda, la isla ha cambiado mucho en la última década, incluyendo entre otras cosas el fin de los mega aperitivos en la playa... no siempre cambiar significa empeorar la situación, seguramente hay una nueva forma de experimentar la isla que está menos centrada en la vida nocturna (de la que Ibiza sigue siendo la estrella indiscutible) y más en la naturaleza. Por cierto se vive más el día más, también porque la edad media de los turistas que visitan la isla ha aumentado de nuevo.

Veniamo ora a parlare della nostra amata isola di Formentera, indubbiamente la più amata dagli italiani per usare uno slogan un po’ tamarro di qualche anno fa! Indubbiamente l’isola è molto cambiata negli ultimi dieci anni, includendo tra l’altro anche la fine dei mega aperitivi sulla spiaggia… non sempre cambiare significa peggiorare la situazione, sicuramente c’è un nuovo modo di vivere l’isola che è meno legato alla movida (della quale la protagonista indiscussa resta Ibiza) e più alla natura. Si vive insomma più il giorno, anche per il fatto che l’età media dei turisti che frequentano l’isola si è alzata di nuovo.

Como todos los años vamos a dedicar el segundo artículo a todos los clubbers que poblarán la isla en este largo verano casi a la vuelta de la esquina. Iluminados por la energía ibicenca de Atlantis y Es Vedra estamos listos, gracias a los sabios consejos de nuestro amigo Alessandro Lippi, periodista de DJ Mag Italia y gran conocedor de Club Culture internacional, para elaborar un programa semanal recomendando lo que para nosotros definitivamente no os lo podéis perder. Pero antes de empezar hay por lo menos dos cosas a destacar: PACHA celebra 50 años de música, moda, estilo, tendencia, e historia, pero más que nada todos los ojos en el novísimo Hï Ibiza, que el domingo, 28 de mayo tuvo su inauguración sobre las cenizas del legendario Space del que tendrá que recoger una herencia muy pesada. Hay todas las condiciones para no tener ningún arrepentimiento. Pero ahora vamos a recorrer la isla para ver, día a día, qué hacer. Si sois apasionados del EDM, o puristas del house y techno, Ibiza nunca decepciona.

Come ogni anno il secondo articolo lo dedichiamo a tutti i Clubber che popoleranno l’isola in questa lunga estate ormai alle porte. Illuminati dall’Ibiza energetica di Atlantis ed Es Vedra siamo pronti, grazie ai sapienti consigli dell’amico Alessandro Lippi, giornalista di DJ MAG Italia e grande esperto di Club Culture internazionale, a stilare un’agenda settimanale segnalandovi ciò che per noi non dovete assolutamente perdere. Ma prima di iniziare ci sono almeno due cose da evidenziare: il PACHA festeggia 50 anni di musica, moda, stile, tendenza e storia, ma soprattutto occhi puntati sul nuovissimo Hï Ibiza, che domenica 28 maggio ha inaugurato sulle ceneri del leggendario Space, del quale, dovrà raccogliere una pesantissima eredità. I presupposti per non avere rimpianti ci sono tutti. Ma adesso pronti per fare un giro sull’isola per vedere, giorno per giorno, cosa fare. Se siete fan dell’EDM, o puristi della house e della techno, Ibiza non delude mai.

También muy recomendada es la fiesta Resistance con Sasha & John Digweed en un Privilege que promete chispas, mientras que el martes 11 y 18 de julio no hay excusas: Pure Carl Cox, ¡para una noche escalofriante!

Si tenéis suerte (el 27 de julio y 24 de agosto) Luciano tiene una fiesta pequeña en Destino. Después de la medianoche no hay dudas: Afterlife de Tale Of Us @ Privilege. Si el EDM es vuestro pan de cada día el jueves mola mucho: primero Martin Garrix en Ushuaïa Ibiza, luego F*** I'm Famous en Pacha by Guetta. Solomun presentará su fiesta por la tarde en Destino (6 de julio, 10 y 17 de agosto y el 5 de octubre). Hï Ibiza muestra su lado underground con residentes que rotan: Steve Lawler, Luciano, Joris Voorn, Kölsch y Nic Fanciulli. ¡Carola day! Music On domina las noches ibicencas de los viernes. Hay que probarla al menos una vez en la vida. Marcad vuestro calendario: en DC10 el 21 y 28 de julio, 4 y 11 de agosto los Disclosure desembarcan con el concept Wild Life. RETRATO DE UNA ISLA RITRATTO DI UN’ISOLA Poetry&Books Hotel&Travel

A B Hace algunos años, justo en el Gran Canal, algo inusual sucedió: un grupo de académicos, profesores o simplemente amantes de Formentera se reunieron en una conferencia donde todo el mundo fue llamado a investigar un tema en la isla, según su propio conocimiento. Un enfoque verdaderamente interdisciplinario entre la historia, la literatura, el cine, las artes visuales y la arquitectura. Algunos profesores del Departamento de Estudios Lingüísticos y Culturales Comparados de la Universidad Ca 'Foscari de Venecia, tuvieron la idea de reunir en un libro todo lo que había sido compartido. Dado que incluso yo estaba en ese grupo, la idea de un proyecto para contar Formentera en la literatura me impresionó de inmediato. Y, por último, salió el libro. Mi contribución se titula Formentera Pelut y es un capítulo dedicado a la época hippie y espero que tanto aquellos que han leído Formentera no existe como los que no me conocen, quieran leerlo. El volumen fue editado por Katiuscia Darici y se titula Formentera. Retrato de una isla, QUiEdit Verona (algunos capítulos son en italiano, otros en catalán o castellano). "Algunas islas del Mediterráneo como Ibiza y Formentera, fueron algunos de los destinos preferidos por las corrientes de hippies que cruzaban Europa, que en parte se dirigían a Estambul o Goa, India."

Qualche anno fa, proprio sul Canal Grande, avveniva qualcosa di insolito: un gruppo di studiosi, di professori o di semplici amanti di Formentera si riuniva in un Convegno dove ognuno era chiamato ad approfondire un argomento sull’isola, a seconda della propria competenza. Un vero e proprio approccio interdisciplinare tra storia, letteratura, cinema, arti visive e architettura. Ad alcuni professori del Dipartimento di Studi Linguistici e Culturali Comparati dell’Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia, venne in mente di riunire in un libro tutto quello che era stato condiviso. Visto che anche io ero in quel gruppo, l’idea di un progetto per raccontare Formentera in modo letterario mi entusiasmò subito. E finalmente, il libro è uscito. Il mio contributo si intitola Formentera Pelut ed è un capitolo dedicato al periodo hippy e spero che sia chi ha letto Formentera non esiste sia chi non mi conosce, abbia voglia di leggerlo. Il volume è stato curato da Katiuscia Darici e si intitola Formentera. Ritratto di un’isola, QUiEdit Verona (alcuni capitoli sono in italiano, altri in catalano o castigliano).
