Hugo Oliver Hugo es un joven con muchas ideas y proyectos Este año está presentando la primera cerveza Ibicenca y también un proyecto humanitario. Nombre: Hugo Oliver ¿A qué te dedicas? Estoy en la dirección de un grupo de empresas que se dedican a la hostelería y restauración en Ibiza. En invierno, cuando la isla aparece tal y como es, la antigua, la profunda, la enigmática, me dedico a desarrollar ideas, que se nos ocurren durante el año, la primera fue Mandaflor. com, una empresa dedicada a la transmisión floral. Este año hemos desarrollado 2 proyectos nuevos gracias a la colaboración de muchos amigos y socios: Ibizagaza.org: Proyecto de ayuda humanitaria ( 200 toneladas y School center pretendemos que los institutos de Ibiza y Gaza se conecten ONLINE, para trabajar sobre medioambiente, tecnología, etc., para entrelazar la cultura árabe y la occidental) Isleña: La cerveza de Ibiza, es una cerveza fresca, suave aromática sin mucha acidez, con un diseño con lo que pensamos que tienen que ser los valores de la humanidad de este siglo (naturaleza, medioambiente, crecimiento personal etc...) destinamos un 1,7% de los beneficios a Ibizagaza.Org. Hobbies: Lectura, informática, submarinismo, footing, natación, wakeboard, navegar, enamorarme ;) ¿Qué significa para ti la música? La música es el mejor psiquiatra, cambia tu estado de ánimo, te influye para que tus moléculas cambien y se armonicen con el ambiente (si queda muy metafísico) os diré que me encanta todo tipo de música y sobre todo me encanta saber la

historia de quien la canta, para profundizar en ella. ¿Crees en el horóscopo? No, eso da mala suerte, todos creemos un poco, pero nunca leo nada sobre él. ¿Tienes un ídolo? Todos los hombres que han dedicado su vida a los estudios y nos han hecho un resumen, para que el camino sea más fácil, tenemos tantos de ellos: Einstein, Descartes, Sócrates etc... Canción preferida: Yesterday ¿Qué esperas del 2009? No arruinarme ¿Tu lugar preferido en Ibiza? Sería injusto, decir que hay uno especial, hay muchos lugares excelentes en Ibiza, al que más aprecio le tengo, son las montañas donde me crié, cerca de la casita verde Tu lugar preferido en el mundo: Ibiza ¿Noche o día? ¿Por qué? Día sin lugar a dudas, con escapadas a la noche de vez en cuando. La razón es el físico y

la capacidad de trabajo del día siguiente. ¿Que crees que es lo que más aprecian tus amigos de ti? No se lo he preguntado, haré encuesta ;) ¿Y lo que no aprecian? Ídem a la anterior La gente te recuerda porque…Siempre que vienen a verme acaban borrachos. Ja ja Y no saben que tu…Digo que bebo vodka solo y realmente bebo agua. ¿Cena romántica o copa con los amigos? Si es romántica con mayúsculas, sin lugar a dudas cena. Os puedo asegurar que una copa con amigos la tienes siempre que quieres ¿Dónde? En medio de la naturaleza ¿Te gusta el deporte? Mucho, todo tipo, me da igual y cuanto más riesgo mejor. ¿Cómo crees que se podría mejorar Ibiza? Gestionando desde el gobierno local todos los temas que son com-

petencia del govern balear en Palma de Mallorca ( promoción turística y transporte aéreo y marítimo (gobierno central)) ¿Una persona importante en tu vida? Mi familia Una anécdota divertida que quieras contarnos: Una vez un cliente de La Brasa, me pidió un postre típico, le dije que teníamos graixonera y crema catalana, el escogió la crema, más tarde cuando fui a ver que le había parecido me dijo que era especial, un poco y que él no estaba acostumbrado a esos sabores ( sólo se había comido la mitad), me extraño y una vez en la cocina quise probarla, las chicas de la cocina se habían confundido y le habían dado una tarina llena de allioli, que después fue quemada, así que el pobre hombre se comió unas diez cucharadas de allioli con azúcar quemado. I’m a manager of several companies dedicated to catering and restaurants in Ibiza. In winter, when the island is real, profound and true to itself, is the time when I develop ideas, the first one was Mandaflor. com, a factory dedicated to flower delivery. This year we have developed 2 new projects thanks to many friends and collaborating partners: Ibizagaza.org: Humanitarian aid project (aimed at providing 200 tons of materials and founding one School Centre. We predict institutes in Ibiza and Gaza can be connected ONLINE, to work on environmental subjects, technology, and so on, interweaving arabic and western cultures) Isleña: The beer of Ibiza, is a fresh beer, mild, aromatic and low in acidity, designed according what we should hold true to mankind´s values of this century , (nature, environment, personal growth and so on ...) we donate 1,7% of profits to Ibizagaza.Org. Music is the best psychiatrist , changes your mood, makes your molecules harmonious with the am-

bience (maybe that’s toometaphysical) I will tell you I love all kinds of music and above all I love to know the history of the singer to go deeper into the music. Do you believe in horoscopes? No, it´s bad luck, we all believe a bit, but I never read into it. Do you have an idol? All men who have dedicated their lives to studying and left us their summaries, to make our path easier, to name a few: Einstein, Descartes, Socrates, and so on . Favourite song? Yesterday. What do you expect in 2009? Not to go bankrupt. Your favourite place in Ibiza? It’s not a fair question, there is not one but many excellent places in Ibiza, one I most appreciate is the mountains where I grew up, close to “casita verde.” Your favourite place in the world? Ibiza Night or day? Why? Day, but I also enjoy going out at night once in a while. The only reason is my physical state, the way I feel the next day at work. What do you think your friends love most about you? I have never asked them, but I will do. And what they don´t like? Same answer as above. Negotiating with the local government all the subjects related to the Local Balear Govern in Palma de Mallorca (tourist promotions, aerial and sea transport (central government issues). An important person in your life? My family. A funny mishap? Once a client at La Brasa restaurant asked for a typical dessert , I told him we had “Graixonera” and “Crema Catalana” , he chose crema catalana, later when I wanted to find out how he liked, he said it was special and he was not used to those flavours ( he only ate half of it) which was strange for me and when I went to the kitchen I wanted to taste it , the girls in the kitchen had made a mistake and gave him aioli with burn sugar , so the man ate ten spoons of this aioli. PACO OSUNA En la actualidad, Paco Osuna esta considerado como uno de los dj´s y productores más prestigiosos, sus innumerables tours demuestran al mundo el gran talento de este barcelonés, también muy querido en la isla blanca. Con un curriculum envidiable (residencia en Amnesia en el 1999, en le 2001 pasa a formar parte de Cocoon, dirige el club4 en BCN… …) se le prevé un futuro prometedor. En Night&Day Magazine hemos querido hacerle unas preguntas para que podamos conocerle mejor: ¿Años? 33 Hobbies: Futbol ¿Tatuajes? Unos pocos, hahahahah ¿Signo del zodiaco? Géminis ¿A que edad empezaste a pinchar?A los 17 ¿Cuáles son tus influencias musicales? Me encanta el acid house, techno, minimal. ¿Cómo nació la idea para montar Club4? Después de varias experiencias como promotor en Barcelona y trabajando para otras personas, decidí montar mi propia noche con i propio concepto musical, sin presiones ni nadie que me pueda influenciar en la línea musical del club, además tuve la suerte de empezar el proyecto con varios amigos dj’s que nos apasionaba la idea de tener nuestra propia noche y entre Marco Carola, Adam Beyer y Christian Smith lo formamos.. ¿Tu mayor éxito profesional? Supongo que todavía tiene que llegar, soy una persona muy inconformista, creo que esta pregunta te la podre contestar en un poco de tiempo más. ¿Cómo defines tu estilo musical? Minimal Techno ¿Crees que aun existe un movimiento underground? Definitivamente si, porque para mí la música que toco sigue siendo underground, no importa que la escuche miles de personas, es más, creo que eso ayuda mucho a que la escena crezca, el día que escuche mí música en la sintonía de un anuncio publicitario creeré que mi música deja de ser underground. En la actualidad estas considerado uno de los mejores dj´s a nivel internacio-

nal, ¿en qué consideras que ha cambiado más tu vida? En que paso mucho mas tiempo fuera de casa y en los aeropuertos, pero sigo siendo la misma persona que sigue juntándose con sus amigos de la infancia y teniendo los mismos valores que tenia cuando empezaba a pinchar y aburría a mis amigos intentando retenerlos en mi casa escuchándome pinchar,hahahahahahaha ¿Vamos a tener la suerte de poder escucharte en Ibiza también este año? Si voy a tocar unas 6 o 7 veces para diferente promotores y además vamos a tener gracias a Monza otra noche Club 4 en la isla, cosa que me hace sentirme especialmente agradecidos a ellos. Cuéntanos un poco tus planes para el verano 2009… Aparte de hacer shows por todas partes, espero tener un poco de break de estudio para poder limpiar mi mente de techno y empezar a prepararme para trabajar en mi primer álbum, que no será música de baile. Una fiesta para recordar: Queensday 2007 en el club Poema (Utrech) Tu rincón preferido en el mundo: Mi sofá. ¿Tu mujer ideal? Todavía la estoy buscando, pero no existe la mujer ideal igual que no existe el hombre ideal, existe las personas con las que tenemos mas cosas en común y nos hacen sentir mejor, pero todavía la estoy buscando,..Le estoy poniendo mucho esfuerzo ;),haahhahaha Cuéntanos una anécdota de tus muchos viajes: La 1 vez que estuve en los EEUU perdí nada al llegar mi pasaporte, nunca en mi vida lo he pasado tan mal, pero afortunadamente lo recupere antes de volver a volar, fue una sensación terrible me entro un pánico en el cuerpo que todavía me acuerdo y ya hace casi 5 years, hahaha Un consejo para los jóvenes dj´s y productores: Que sean ambiciosos pero respetuosos, creativos pero originales, de ellos depende el futuro de esta profesión. Right now Paco Osuna is considered one of the most prestigious dj`s and producers, on tour. This dj from Barcelona, shows his talent to the world, he is very loved on the white island, with an amazing curriculum (he was resident in Amnesia in1999, after in 2001 he became part of the Cocoon party and manages club4 in Barcelona…) he has a promising future. Musical Influences: I love acid house, techno and minimal. How was Club4 born? After being a promoter in Barcelona and working for other people, I decided to do my own night with my own musical concept , with no pressure, and nobodys’ influence. Besides, I was lucky, I started with some dj`s friends, who were very excited to have our own night,: Marco Carola, Adam Beyer and Christian Smith Your biggest professional success? I guess it’s still to come, I’m a very nonconformist person, I think this question I can only answer in the future. How do you define your style? Minimal techno. Do you believe the underground movement still exists? Yes, definitely, for me, my music is underground, doesn`t matter if thousands of people listen to it, even more so, I think this helps it to grow on the music scene. If the day comes, when I hear my music in a jingle then I will believe it’s not underground anymore. Right now you are conside-

red one of the best international DJ’s, how has your changed life?: I spend more time away from home, more time in airports, but I’m still the same person who spends time with his childhood friends, I still believe in the same values I had when I started to play and try to keep my friends entertained while I am playing, hahahaa Are we going to be lucky enough to hear you in Ibiza this summer? Yes , I will play 6 or 7 times for different promoters, besides we will have a club4 night thanks to Monza, whom I am very grateful to. Tell us your plans for this summer 2009?: Apart from performing everywhere, I hope to have some breaks to clear my mind from techno music and start to prepare a new album, that won`t be dance music. I`m still looking for her, I don`t think there is an ideal woman, nor ideal man.There are people with whom we share many things in common, and make us feel good, but I’m still looking for her, I’m trying my best, hahaha Tell us a funny mishap from your travels?: The first time I visited the United States, just after arriving I lost my passport, I`ve never had such a bad time, fortunately I got it back before returning home, it was a horrible sensation , I was paniced, it was 5 years ago and I still remember it, hahaha Any advice for young dj`s and producers?: Be ambitious but respectful, creative but original, the professional future depends on it Define: Club4: A lot of work, my most beloved project. Jamie Lewis ¿Donde nacisteis? En Witherthur, Suiza. Edad: 40 años Tatuajes: Lo siento, odio los tatuajes. ¿A qué edad comenzasteis a pinchar? A los 16 años, luego en Italia en Rímini después de estar por primera vez en un club inmenso… pensé quiero ser dj. ¿Cual es tu influencia musical? Disco, Vocal House ( Americano) ¿Crees que el House ha vuelto a la escena musical? ¡El House nunca se fue! Desde los comienzos de los 90´s hemos tenido distintos géneros de House pero de verdad creo que este sonido no morirá; y siempre depende del país, algunos son mas Techo y otros más Electro y ahora vuelven las raíces del House. ¿Piensas positive? Si ¿Cuándo fue tu primera vez en Ibiza? Mmm, hace 12 años, al Pacha Music Night. ¿Cómo definirías tu estilo? Vocal Sexy House Music. ¿Tu mayor éxito musical? Como dj haber pinchado en algunos de las discoteques más famosas del mundo… y por supuesto en el Ibiza House Music Award, donde recibí en el 2006 en el Pacha un premio. Como productor, el hecho que mi club Anthems sea reconocido en todo el mundo y lanzar mi propio sello discográfico antes de haber sido registrado en muchas compilaciones alrededor del mundo y por algunos de los sellos discográficos más prestigiosos: “So Sexy” con Kim Cooper, & “The Light” con Michelle Weeks. ¿Tendremos la oportuni-

dad de oírte en Ibiza este año? Así espero… ¿Dónde? Estaré cada lunes en El Divino desde el 6 de Julio hasta el 4 de Septiembre presentando mi música y algunos de los más grandes y talentosos dj´s del sello. ¿Cuéntanos cuál es tu plan para este verano 2009? Aparte de la residencia cada lunes en Ibiza estaré de tour en Suiza, Francia, España, Italia, Portugal, Albania. ¿Alguna fiesta que recuerdes? Mis 30 horas maratónicas en el Kaufleuten en Zúrich en abril del 2006… pinche sin parar desde el sábado por la tarde hasta el domingo, tenia 12 bolsos llenos de vinilos clásicos, Disco, Vocales, Upliffting House.... ¡fue increíble! ¿Tu lugar favorito del mundo? Mi casa y mi cama. ¿Una mujer ideal? Mi esposa ¿Algún consejo para los nuevos dj´s y productores? Tattoos: I hate tattoos, sorry What age did you start to play? At 16 after I was in Italy in Rimini for the first time in a huge club…I thought, I want to be a dj. What is your musical influence? Disco, Vocal House (American). Do you really think house music is coming back? House music never went away!! Since the early 90s we have had many different house music genres but I truly believe this sound will never end….and it always depends on the countries some are more techno or more electro and now are coming back to the house roots…. Do you think it’s positive? Yes. Your first time in Ibiza? It was 12 years ago at Pacha, Purple Music Night. How do you define your musical genre? Vocal Sexy House Music. Biggest professional success? As a dj: having played in some of the most famous clubs in the world….and for sure the Ibiza House Music Award I have received in 2006(Pacha Ibiza)…. as a producer my biggest club anthems recognized worldwide and released on my own record label before being licensed worldwide on many compilations and by some of the most relevant record labels: “So Sexy” with Kim Cooper, & The Light with Michelle Weeks. Are we going to be lucky enough to hear you in Ibiza this year? Hope so… Where? Every Monday @ El Divino from July 6th till September 14th presenting my sound and some of the best talented dj´s on the label.

Tell us your plan for this summer 2009? Besides of the residency every Monday in Ibiza I will be on tour worldwide: Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Albania. A party to remember? My 30 hour dj marathon@kaufleuten in Zurich in April 2006…I played nonstop from Saturday evening till Sunday, I had 12 record bags full of vinyl classics, disco, vocal, uplifting house…it was amazing! IBAN MENDOZA Mis amigos de Night & Day me han pedido que escriba un articulo hablando de lo que quiera, y como no creo que mi opinión sobre cualquier cosa vaya a cambiar nada, voy a hablaros un poco de mi y de quien soy. Mi nombre es Ibán y nací en Lleida hace 32 años aunque debo reconocer que otro Ibán nació el año que llegué a Ibiza hace 6 años. A mi llegada a la isla y dada mi afición por la música electrónica de baile, intenté buscar un trabajo en algún bar musical y fui a parar al bar Izay donde Manolo, que es el dueño y ahora gran amigo me contrató para pinchar discos “no mezclándolos, ya que no sabía” de Techno Pop de los 80’s. ahí fue donde lo que era un hobbie y una manera de sobrevivir se convirtió en una forma de vida. En una de estas noches en el Izay conocí a un personaje que más tarde llegaría a ser el elemento decisivo a la hora de guiar mis pasos hasta lo que soy hoy en día…David Moreno, el ha sido el culpable de mi pasión por la música, de mi modo de entender el mundo de la fiesta y de valorar lo que otros antes que yo han trabajado y construido para que hoy gente como yo lo tengamos todo un poco más fácil. También fue de la mano de David que llegué a formar parte de esta gran familia que es Ibiza Global Radio y que es, además, de mi casa, mi lugar de trabajo y sin la

Lo que soy, lo que soy, lo que soy… ¿y qué coño eres? os preguntareis, pues no soy más que uno de los muchos dj’s que trabajan día a día para hacerse un hueco en este mundo de posturéo y en el que no siempre es oro lo que reluce. Pero para los que “lo hacemos de verdad” es un orgullo y un placer formar parte de este circo.

My friends from Night & Day asked me to write something, whatever I want, because I think my opinion about anything will change nothing , I will tell you something about me and who I am. My name is Ibán and I was born in Lleida 32 years ago, although I have to recognize another Ibán was born when I arrived to Ibiza 6 ago. Because of my affliction to electronic dance music, when I arrived here, I tried to look for a job in a music bar, and I started to work in Bar Izay, where Manolo, owner of the bar and now a good friend asked me to play vinyls “but without mixing them, because I didn´t know how to” of Techno Pop from the 80’s. It was there that just a hobbie became a way to survive

and developed a style of life. One of those nights, at Izay, I met a person, later on that would be a decisive element to guide me to who I am right now…David Moreno, he´s the reason for my passion for music, my way of understanding the party scene and value people, who have created and made everything for the new people like me a bit easier. It was also with David I started to become part of this great family , I mean, Ibiza Global Radio , furthermore, it’s my home, my job and without them, I wouldn’t be who I am today. Who am I, who am I, who am I…and what the fuck am I ? You must be wandering who the fuck are you? I´m just one of many dj´s who work day by day to make his place in this world, of posers where nothing is what it seems to be. veronique & maurice ¡IBIZA2009 un gran año! Ya estamos acostumbrados, desde hace mucho tiempo a aperturas espectaculares: este año, como es la costumbre ha sido así. El Privilege ha abierto la temporada con mega estructuras en la alegría general de los rencuentros ¡fue mágico! Luego el Space, muy profesionales como siempre, ¡que gran momento! El Amnesia, extraordinario: buen sonido, buena música, buen ambiente, y…buena climatización (no hemos sentido ni frio ni calor en ningún momento). Destacar Cocoon, ¡siempre buenísimo! La Troya, espectacular (encontramos a mucha gente de la isla) ¡buen humor garantizado!. Supermartxé y Matinée son productos apartes, ya sea en los medios invertidos, que son impresionantes,

la animación, y más bien el espectáculo que se prolonga durante toda la noche, ¡son tan profesionales que nos han hecho bailar para darnos cuenta que la música no era precisamente para entrenar. El Pacha ineludible, ¡como siempre tiene una de las mejores organizaciones y música de la isla! Jamás decepciona. Y terminaré con el Zoo Project, en la carretera de San Antonio, que nos ha divertido y nos ha hecho pensar en el DC10, a sus comienzos, hemos oído a un dj que mezcla música de los años 30 hasta los 50 en house: una pequeña maravilla recuerden bien su nombre”Funcky”, no me sorprendería que dentro de poco empecemos a oir su nombre habitualmente.

IBIZA 2009 a great year! For a long time now, we have accustomed to great opening parties! This year has been the same. Privilege started the season off with mega structures amidst the happines of the general public and their meeting point was magical! Then Space, professional as usual, what a great time! Amnesia was extraordinary: good sound, good music, good atmosphere, and good ventilation (we haven´t been cold or hot at any moment) Cocoon, always one of the best! La Troya, spectacular (we met a lot of islalnd people) good humour guaranteed! Supermartxé and Matinée are elements on their own, with new investments, that have proven impressive. In animation,

entertainment and endless shows. They got it so right that we danced all night long from the joy of music and it was almost like physical training. Pacha, of course has one of the best organizations and music on the island. You will never be disappointed. I will finish with Zoo Project, on the way to San Antonio, has entertained us and made us think of DC 10, its beginnings, we have heard a dj, who mixed music from the 30’s until the 50’s, remember his name is “Funky”, I wouldn´t be surprised if we start to hear his name more often. ¡Aleluya! Por fin parece que nuestra amada Isla, después de las aperturas de las más famosas fiestas se está llenando de felices turistas. Os voy a dar un consejo de amigo. Entre vuestras peregrinaciones turísticas no puede faltar un paseo de primera tarde... las 19:00h, por las alegres callejuelas del puerto de la ciudad Eivissa. Entra tantas me permito sugerirles dos. Concretamente me refiero a calle Mayor y calle de la Virgen. La primera es una calle rebosante de pequeñas tiendas llena de todas clase de curiosidades... Discos novedosos de las tendencias musicales del verano, souvenirs, finas joyas de plata y piedras preciosas desde todo el mundo, elegantes bikinis y golosinas, zapatos y camisas de hombre en el más puro estilo Ibicencos. Además hay la exquisita pizzería Pinocho y casi al final de la calle otro templo para paladares finos “el Rincón del Puerto “y su famosa pasta adentro de una forma autentica de parmigiano. Más arriba de la mayor está la calle de la virgen y también allí podemos decidirnos por un tailandés de sabores auténticos o un español típico y de excelente co-

cina en el Pomelo. Para los Italianos que no pueden renunciar a sus sabores tradicionales es obligatorio elegir mesa en el Pavone, carpaccio de pulpo y limoncello entre tantas delicias. Entre restaurantes hay tiendas tentadoras y bares de copas gay-friendly para todos gustos y colores. Entre las 11:00 y las 1:00 tripulan por allí el desfile de las fiestas de la noche... un momento de locura inolvidable a plena calle y contigo adentro. Dicho esto... ¿qué esperas? Amongst all of them let me suggest you two streets. Mayor street and Virgin street. The first one is full of beautiful small shops with all kind of curio-

sities…New vinyl records, souvenirs, fine silver jewellery, precious gems from around the world, elegant bikinis, sweets, shoes and men shirts pure ibicencan style. Beside that, there is the exquisite pizzeria Pinocho and at the end of street there is another temple for fine palates “El Rincon del Puerto” and its famous pasta with big heaps of parmeasan. One street up is Virgin street, where you can find a Thai restaurant, with authentic flavours or typical Spanish food, with excellent cuisine at Pomelo. For those Italians, who can´t give up their traditional flavours, must book a table at Pavone, carpaccio of octopus and limoncello between all the delicacies. Between tempting shops and friendly-gay bars for different tastes and colours, 11:00 and 01:00 are the hours of the big party parades…an unforgettable crazy moment on the street and you’re in it. After all I’ve mentioned…what are you waiting for? Let yourself be seduced and surprised by these streets and all it has to offer… for sure you’ll find what you’re looking for. EL UNICO CAMINO PARA FORMAR A UN ACTOR “El actor empieza a ser actor cuando deja de actuar” “Al Pacino” Esta frase dicha por Al Pacino, concluye toda la historia de la interpretación, quiero decir, no se puede definir mas abreviado lo que significa ser actor, dejar de actuar significa tener la capacidad interpretativa de revivir y hacer real una escena de ficción que alguien ha escrito como si estuviera pasando en ese momento; Una escuela para la formación de actores suele vender un proceso durante el cual si realmente formaran al actor como deberían hacerlo no llegarían a final de mes con suficientes alumnos para que su empresa sea rentable, así que la mayoría acaba ofreciendo una formación escasa y además les venden la errónea idea de que al terminar ya pueden salir a la calle a ganarse la vida en un oficio que es “bienvenido a morirse de hambre” y en el que hay un 99% de paro; Las escuelas de formación, deben preparar al alumno para esa cruda realidad, con una formación adecuada para lo que se van a encontrar en los castings y siendo realistas con él en cuanto a sus posibilidades, yo para poder hablar poder así de claro sobre este polémico tema, pase por ello como alumno, empresario y formador, y decidí cerrar el Studio hasta poder ofrecer un producto de formación completo, real y que además fuera compatible con mi empresa. Hay que tener mucho cuidado cuando se le hable de trabajo a los alumnos que estas formando, a veces se les habla de “bolsa de trabajo

Acting Schools used to sell a period of time, but if they really teach a person to be an actor in that time, they wouldn’t finish their term with enough students, so the school could not be profitable, so most of them offer a poor education and sell the student a wrong idea, once they finish the school how they can manage to get a job in what is “welcome to starvation” and has 99% of unemployment. Schools should advice the student this cruel reality, with a proper education to know what they will get once they go for castings, it’s important to be realistic with students about their abilities, now I can talk about this polemic subject, before I was student, business man and teacher, I decided to close the Studio until I could offer a complete and real teaching product, and at the same time it would be compatible with my business. We have to be very careful when we talk to students about jobs, sometimes they have been told about job listing creating false expectations, we can’t do that, and at least the school should be related to a production company. ISPIRTO Bar, and a good friend, last month he promised to give us the recipe of one of his cocktails, we can drink if we go to visit him, so here we are, sat on his quaint terrace listening to good music with him… N&D MAG: Julien this month you can’t run away! You promised, so I hope you are ready… because I’m very thirsty! JULIEN: I haven’t forgot it, I have a drink, “it will kill you”, because it’s so good, it’s called dead man’s mule, ¡wonderful! N&D MAG: It looks like this, but with that name I’m a bit scared to drink it (laughs), tell me the ingredients JULIEN: (laughs), Don’t worry, you’ll love it… I will give you the main ingredients, but I can’t tell you our personal touch. Nombre:Birgitta María Elbers Lugar de origen: Alemania, Rees una ciudad pequeña cerca de Dusseldorf, al lado de la frontera de Holanda. ¿Dónde vives? Hasta ahora vivía en Valencia desde 2004, donde estudié Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Bellas Artes, 20 años atrás, pero ahora estoy a punto de mudarme a esta isla impactante. ¿Tu relación con la isla? Vengo a menudo a la isla de hace más de 8 años. Me encanta, me inspira la gente, los personajes, hay muchos creadores, mucho ambiente, gente abierta con una energía muy positiva que necesito alrededor para sentir me feliz. ¿Qué es para ti el arte? Es el camino de mi vida, una forma de expresarme y transformar mis energías, sentimientos, pensamientos, aprendizajes ¿Desde cuándo pintas? Empecé de niña, cuando regresaba a medio día del colegio mi madre me dejó esperando muchas veces sin llaves de casa...así descubrí el jardín, las plantas y comencé a pintar, también partes de mi cuerpo y encontré una nueva pasión. ¿Cómo defines tu obra? Contemporánea...tengo una forma muy intuitiva de pintar y de hacer fotos, lo hago también para captar la esencia del momento de la persona o cosa. ¿En qué te sueles inspirar? Me inspira la filosofía oriental, la filosofía de los indios nor-

teamericanos a través de los animales, que muchas veces aparecen en las obras para definir el carácter de una persona y el cuerpo humano es siempre mi focus porque no es solo una elegancia o fuerza que me interesa, es siempre leer el mensaje a través del cuerpo, la mente, los sentimientos y contar “mis historias”. ¿Tú crees que los artistas nacen siéndolo o llegan a serlo a lo largo de su vida? He trabajado una temporada en Alemania en conjunto con una sicóloga de niños superdotados...son impresionantes por su sensibilidad de captar , ver , inventar y crear un mundo nuevo...el arte esta allí... hay que tener esta sensibilidad ,ser auténtico con si mismo y tener la inquietud de crear. Cuéntanos a donde te gustaría llegar… ¿Cual es tu sueño? Soy aventurera y tengo visiones ...pero lo importante es estar en el momento de tu vida para disfrutar ahora...el futuro siempre está en el futuro, así hay que ver las cosas a corto plazo ...aparte de esto, estoy convencida que cuando la vida te refleja las cosas te da nuevas oportunidades..En este caso es poner en todo el mundo, sitios maravillosos como hay en esta isla...todavía se pueden ver mis obras en cala Jondal en la galería del restaurante Jemanja en la playa...un sitio maravilloso o a través de mi página web.

It’s a way to express myself, and change my energies, feelings, thoughts and learning. When did you start to paint? When I was a little girl, when I came back home from the school, many times my mum left me waiting without the keys…then I discovered the garden, plants and started to paint, my body as well, I found a new passion. How do you define your painting? Contemporary… I’m very intuitive when painting, same with photography, to capture the essence of the moment, person or thing. What things inspire you? Oriental philosophy, northamerican indians’s philosophy through animals, they are on

the paintings, many times to show or define a person’s character. Human body is always my “focus”, not only it’s elegancy and strength that interests me, it’s about reading the message through the body, mind or feelings, to tell “my stories”. Do you think artist are born or they develop through the time? I’ve worked a season in Germany with highly gifted children… they are amazing because of their sensitivity to see, to invent and create a new world… art is there… you have to have this sensitivity, be real with yourself, having the interest to create. Tell us where you’d like to be? what is your dream? I’m adventurous, I have visions… but the important thing is being in the moment, to enjoy now… future will be always future, so you have see things short term… apart from this, I’m convinced when life reflects things, gives you new opportunities …in this case, to create beautiful places like you find in Ibiza…still you can find my job in Cala Jondal, at the gallery, restaurant Yemanja, on the beach… a wonderful place, or in my web site.

Conocí a una chica andaluza que utilizaba mucho la expresión: “¡esto es Canela en rama!” para referirse a que algo era bonito, fino, exquisito... ¡y me encantó! Pensé que sería un buen nombre para mi marca. ¿Cuando nació la empresa? Siempre quise hacer mis propias creaciones. Terminé los estudios de Diseño de Moda y Estilismo en el 2006 y después de trabajar bastante en el proyecto, por fin, a principios del 2008 el sueño se hizo realidad y nació “Canela en rama”. ¿Cuántas personas sois las que dais vida a estos productos?: Yo me encargo de casi todo, aunque tengo la ayuda de artesanos. ¿Qué materiales sueles usar? La autopista…qué necesidad tiene Ibiza de tener una autopista y las grandes construcciones que destrozan el paisaje y la naturaleza de la isla. También trabajamos en la prevención de la transmisión del VIH-sida en la población en general a través de programas, proyectos, campañas, talleres, trabajando por la igualdad de derechos y oportunidades, la integración laboral y una atención pico-social y sanitaria de calidad. Nace en Mallorca en 1986, fruto del interés de distintos profesionales y personas infectadas por el VIH/SIDA y de sus familiares para ofrecer apoyo y atención a las personas que se encontraban ante el reto de esta nueva enfermedad. Y en esta ocasión a Es Cavallet, conocida por ser una playa nudista y también gay. De muy fácil acceso, cuenta con un amplio aparcamiento. Su playa es extensa, adornada con dunas de formas diferente, y es embalse natural de las salinas. Aquí podéis encontrar tranquilidad si lo que queréis es estar solos y o tomar sol entre sus dunas. Hay restaurantes que ofrecen un menú de pescados y comida mediterránea de muy alta calidad. Ven a disfrutar y no te olvidarás de los buenos momentos que la isla te puede ofrecer.

In this occasion we go to Es Cavallet, known as a nudist and also gay beach. Easy to get there, it has a big parking lot. Beach is huge, has different shaped dunes, and is natural dam of the salt mine. Here you can find peace if what you really want is to be alone o have suntan between the dunes. Hay de todo ahora, mucha mezcla y cada uno crea su tendencia a segunda de la situación, (fiestas, tipo de

trabajo, personalidad, etc.) ¡Libertad a la creatividad! ¿Desde cuándo eres peluquero? ¿Yo peluquero?!Lo soy en un sentido, y llevo ya más de 17 años, pero me reputo más un estilista de imagen o en artista en general visto que me gusta crear cosas también fuera de tema con el pelo. ¿Crees que la moda en Ibiza es diferente al resto del mundo? No, no mucho. Aquí la gente es de todo el mundo así que ello más que nadie traen novedades e ideas desde fuera. Luego la gente de “moda” aquí van diferente porque se sienten más libre de ponerse como quieren, así que sienten la energía de la isla y se dejan llevar por el rollo mágico de ella. ¿Personalmente prefieres las mujeres con el pelo largo o corto? ¡Estoy enamorado de las mujeres en general, da igual el pelo corto o largo, pero siempre es uno de los primeros sitios donde me caen los ojos, luego ya paso rápidamente al resto, claro! ¿Cuando has abierto Pelo Loco? Justo hace pocos días, el 2 de Julio, Pelo Loco ha cumplido 5 años ya, mi niño ya va creciendo y muy bien Proyectos de futuro: Muchos, demasiados, pero a poco a poco intentare cumplirlos todos. Cuando llegue a Ibiza fue el único sitio donde he dicho: Ok, aquí quiero parar y hacer una base. Es una isla especial con una energía y una gente especial Explícanos a que te dedicas: Tengo una heladería artesanal en Playa D´en bossa, y un carro de helados antiguo, vamos a diferentes puntos de la isla a llevar nuestros helados: playas, fiestas, eventos, etc. ¿Cual es tu secreto para que tus helados sean tan buenos? El secreto no te lo puedo decir, lo que te puedo decir es que para poder hacer un verdadero helado artesanal tienes que saber realmente lo que estás haciendo, con productos frescos, naturales y de primera calidad, conocer la técnica

¿Y cuál es tu sabor de helado preferido?chocolate ¿Qué tipo de gente viene a tu heladería? Todo tipo de gente y todo el mundo está feliz de comerse un buen helado. Lo mejor son los niños, mirar a un niño comer un helado es el regalo que me hago todos los días ¿Por qué piensas que la gente tendría que venir a tu heladería y no a otra? Porque somos el Punto G y aquí todo es multiosgarmico ja ja ja... ¿Tu lugar favorito del mundo? Estoy muy enamorada de Asia pero creo que la Patagonia es uno de los sitios más bellos que he visto en el mundo, ¡la naturaleza es espectacular!

¿Qué esperas del verano? …..que toda la gente que vive aquí ponga mucha energía, fuerza y pasión en sus actividades ¡basta de quejarse! Un consejo a los que vienen a Ibiza por primera vez: Mirar BIEN esta isla, la naturaleza, la diversión, sentir que la isla en cada momento te esta diciendo algo que tienes que saber descifrar, un helado ayuda a esto jajaja Explícanos una anécdota: Un día en la heladería estaban un niño y una niña de distintas familias al verse sentados uno enfrente a otro solo se han mirado y han intercambiados sus helados y reían con sus bigotes de chocolate, había nacido una amistad, donde gustos sabores colores y olores no eran barreras sino una manera de unir este mundo. When I arrived here, was the only place where I said: Ok, I want to stop here, and have a base. It s a special island, with special people and energy. Tell us what do you do : I have home made ice cream shop at Playa D´en bossa, and an old ice cream cart, we go to different places of the island with our ice cream: beaches, parties, events and so What is your secret, your ice cream is so good? I can’t tell you that, but to make a real homemade ice cream you have to really know what you do, with fresh, natural and first quality products and to know the technique. What is your favourite flavour? Chocolate What kind of people come to the ice cream shop? All kind, everybody likes a good ice cream. The best are children, to see a child having an ice cream is a gift for me, I have everyday.

Why do you think people should come to Punto G and not another one? Because we are Punto G, and here all is multiosgarmic ja ja ja... Your favourite place in the world? I’m in love with Asia but Patagonia is one of the most beautiful places I´ve ever seen all over the world, nature is amazing! What do you expect this summer? …All people live here have a lot of energy, strength and passion in their matters, stop complaint! An advice for people come here for first time: Look at good the island, nature, entertainment, feeling each moment the island is telling you something you have to decipher, an ice cream helps a lot, jajaja. Tell us an anecdote: One day at the ice cream shop, was a boy and a girl coming from different families, they were sitting staring each other and exchanged their ice cream, they laughed with their chocolate moustaches, and it was born a new friendship, where tastes, colours and smells are not barrier but a way to close this world. Todo comenzó en la apertura del Space 2005. ¿Quién iba a imaginar que ese día conocería mi alma gemela?. De hecho fue así, desde ese día nuestras vidas se unieron y no se separaron más. Nos enamoramos cada día que pasa, en esta mágica isla, donde ocurren cosas especiales, que no suceden en ninguna otra parte. El verano terminó, él se fue a Argentina y yo a Barcelona, el adiós fue horrible, estuvimos 3 meses separados, pero nuestra relación creció con la distancia. La gente dice que tener una relación a distancia es difícil pero la nuestra fue hermosa. 3 meses más tarde viajé a Argentina y luego volvimos juntos a Ibiza a trabajar, hasta ahora estamos juntos. 2 años atrás decidimos casarnos en la isla, la isla que nos dio todo, y en un lugar muy especial para nosotros, Es Vedrá . La boda fue un sueño, con toda nuestra familia , nuestros amigos y nuestra otra gran familia, me refiero a todos nuestros amigos que trabajan en el puerto. Es extraño, pero nuestra relación está muy influenciada por Space, nos conocimos en la apertura en el 2005, nos casamos el día del cierre del 2007, supe que estaba embarazada el cierre del 2008, y tuve a nuestra hermosa hijita, Asia, el mismo diía de la apertura del 2009…entonces todos ustedes que piensan que nunca encontrarán a su alma gemela o media naranja en una discoteque , os digo que estáis equivocados. Todo puede suceder en esta isla, sólo tienes que vivir su magia. AMAMOS IBIZA. Felicitamos a Gema y Lucas y esperamos que vuestro amor crezca hasta el infinito N&D MAG.

Everything started in the opening of Space, 2005. Who can imagine that day we would find our soul mate? In fact, it was like this, from that day our lifes met and never separated. We fell in love every day, in this magic island, where special things happen, and nowhere does it. Summer was over, and he went to Buenos Aires and me to Barcelona. Good bye was horrible, we were 3 months separated but our relation grew up with distance. People say having a relation like this is difficult but ours was beautiful. 3 months later I travelled to Argentina and then we came back together to Ibiza to work, we stayed together until now. Two years ago, we decided to get married in the island, the island that gave us all, and in a very special place for us, Es Vedrá. Wedding was a dream, with our family, all our friends and our great family, I mean all our friends from the port. It’s weird, but our relation is influenced by Space, we met on the opening 2005, we got married on the closing 2007, I realized I was pregnant on the closing 2008 and I l delivered our beautiful little daudther , Asia , fruit of our love, exactly at the opening 2009… so all of you, that think you will never meet your love in a club, are wrong. Anything can happen in this island, you just have to live its magic. WE LOVE IBIZA. 92 MICHAEL El jueves pasado estaba cenando con unos amigos en un sitio precioso de nuestra bellísima isla y de repente un amigo me dio una noticia, con un tono de voz extraño. Lo escucho y hago ver que le sigo el juego. Si, por que para mí se trataba solo de un juego o al menos en mi corazón pensaba que así era. Cansado de la cena me despido y me voy a casa a dormir. Al día siguiente mientras me preparaba el desayuno, mi madre (aquí de vacaciones) me confirma la noticia: Michael ha muerto. Yo me quedé sin palabras al escuchar la noticia. Entonces sí creí lo que la noche anterior no había querido creer. Me ha hecho pensar mucho y me ha venido una sensación muy rara. Mi madre lo llamo solo Michael porque ya formaba parte de nuestra vida, desde pequeño ella ha tenido que bajar el volumen de su música y “absorber” las imitaciones que hacía de él en las fiestas de cumpleaños. La cosa más rara es que aquella sensación ya la había sentido hace 20 años con la muerte de un familiar y no la había vuelto a sentir. En estos días, hablando con un amigo de esta sensación he expresado mi idea de querer escribir esta carta, ya se escuchan leyendas urbanas que hablan de la “falsa muerte” de Michael. Para escribir en nuestra revista normalmente adoptamos una regla: tiene que haber una relación en el articulo con la isla, estaba documentándome para saber si Michael había estado aquí o tenía alguna relación con Ibiza cuando me di cuenta de que el seguramente ha estado aquí, de hecho lo estará siempre, cada vez que alguien ponga una canción suya, o que algún dj ponga

alguno de los innumerables remixes que han hecho con sus temas, no podría ser de otra manera. Aquí, en la isla de la música Michael Jackson estará siempre y a lo mejor algún día en el nombre de una plaza, o escondido en una villa.

Last Thursday I was having dinner with some friends in a lovely place on our beautiful island, when suddenly somebody gave me the most unexpected news in a very strange tone of voice. I heard him but continued on as if I were following in along with

his joke, because for me it was just a game, or at least inside my heart I thought it was. Next morning while preparing breakfast, my mom (here on holiday) confirmed the news: Michael was dead. I was speechless when I heard it. It was then when I really had to believed what I didn´t want to the night before. It made me think a lot, and in some weird way a sense of loss had come over me. My mom just called him Michael because he formed part of our lives, since I was a child she use to have to turn down the volume of his music and put up with my impersonations of him at birthdays parties. The weirdest thing is that I have felt that same feeling before, 20 years ago when a member of our family died, and I hadn’t felt that same sense of loss SINCE. During the last few days, I was speaking with a friend about this feeling I had and how I expressed my idea about writing this letter, and we were already having to listen to an urban legends about his “false” death. To write an article in our magazine we generally have a rule: there has to be a relation between the article and the island, So I’ve been researching if Michael has been here or have had some relationship with the island, when I realised that for sure he has been here, in fact he will be here forever, every time that somebody plays one of his songs, or some dj plays one of his countless remixes , it couldn`t be any other way, here on the island, Michael Jackson`s music will live forever and maybe someday his name will be honored and dedicated to a famous memorial or plaza, or even hidden in a Villa. Este año se cumple el décimo año de Matinée en Ibiza. ¿Qué valoración haces de toda la trayectoria? Muy importante, como la consolidación como grupo promotor en la escena clubber a nivel mundial. Ibiza ha sido la ventana que nos ha dado a conocer en todo el planeta, desde que empezamos en el Divino hasta ahora ya han pasado 10 años. Matinée ha crecido de manera espectacular y estamos muy satisfechos del trabajo bien hecho. En aquellos años del inicio de Matinée, Ibiza solo daba cabida a los promotores Ingleses, Alemanes y eran años difíciles para cualquier grupo español entrar en la isla. Con el paso del tiempo y el trabajo bien hecho Matinée Group fue sin lugar a dudas el primer grupo promotor en triunfar en la isla blanca. Este año Matinée se “muda” a Amnesia. ¿Cuáles son los motivos del cambio? La verdad es que Space para nuestra experiencia ha sido el mejor after del mundo sin lugar a dudas. Creo que Matinée en Space pasó una etapa, la nueva legislación hizo que cambiáramos a horario nocturno y todas las comparaciones en esa referencia han sido a las matinales de Space. No, ya que la evolución a nivel artístico y conceptual de noche en Space no nos ofrecía las características de Amnesia, como es la gran altura, grandes espacios y un escenario espectacular. Y el slogan es porque para evolucionar necesitábamos cambiar y era necesaria una revolución en todos los sentidos. Y la revolución, ¿a qué se debe? ¿Qué novedades va a tener Matinée en la temporada estival? Este es el año de los cambios, principalmente artístico y sobre todo a nivel musical, este año en Amnesia tendremos a dos referentes de nuestra marca como son J.Louis i Taito Tikaro en la otra dos caras nuevas como André Vicenzzo y Paco Maroto ambas salas con sonidos totalmente diferenciados, cosa que antes no ocurría en la otra sala. La puesta en escena será clave en esta nueva etapa en Amnesia, tenemos preparadas muchas sorpresas que seguro no dejaran indiferente a todos aquellos que vengan a cualquier sesión de Matinée en Ibiza en este año

¿Cómo ha evolucionado Circuit Festival tras la pasada edición? De manera espectacular, la convocatoria de la primera edición fue vital y es algo que esperábamos ya que ofrecíamos una alternativa de calidad a otras ofertas de la ciudad que bien se merecía algo de esta envergadura. La respuesta del público fue nuestro gran aliado confiando en un evento nuevo. La pasada edición fue la primera, ha sido un año de reconocimiento a nivel mundial. ¿Qué novedades se incluyen este año? Ante todo y lo más importante el reconocimiento de las instituciones como el Ajuntament de Barcelona, Ajuntament de Sitges, Generalitat y Organismos. Para esta edición hemos ampliado en días y mas actividades de día como novedad este año con los deportes y la continuidad de temas de cultura como los debates, exposiciones y el ciclo de cine gay y lésbico. En el apartado clubbing las colaboraciones con otros grupos promotores como la fiesta Bravo de Madrid o Rápido de Amsterdam son algunas de estas novedades. Sin olvidarnos de las grandes fiestas como la del parque acuático y la multitudinaria del sábado noche en el Pabellón Olímpico de Badalona para miles de personas y como novedad importante una nueva propuesta el domingo, una Beach Party de día en l’Atlantida de Sitges.

¿Cómo habéis conseguido proyectar el festival a nivel internacional? Hemos estado presentes en prácticamente todo el planeta en publicaciones gays y lésbicas como en Brasil, Estados Unidos, Grecia, Italia, Reino Unido, Alemania, Francia entre otras muchas y sobre todo el gran apoyo lo hemos obtenido con las pre parties en todo el mundo con más de 50 fiestas que nos han dado a conocer con una apuesta de calidad. ¿Cómo ha sido la respuesta de la gente con las fiestas celebradas en otras ciudades (Estambul, Zúrich, París, Sao Paulo, Moscú)? El feedback ha sido genial, el reconocimiento de estas fiestas es fundamental, siempre llenas de energía, buenas vibraciones. Nuestra marca es muy bien recibida en todas partes. ¿Qué supone este festival para Matinée Group? La consolidación de la marca, ya que tenía que dar este gran paso como un gran reto, dedicación en Barcelona y en el mundo ofreciendo espacios y fiestas para gays. Nos sentimos muy felices de seguir en auge siendo un referente a nivel global.

-This year Matinée celebrates it’s 10th year here in Ibiza. How would you value this lengthy journey? -Its extremely important, as a group of promoters in the clubing scene on a worldwide level. -Ibiza was the window that allowed us to discover the globe, from when we first started in El Divino up until now, 10 years have passed. Matinée grew in a spectacular way, and we are very satisfied with the work we have done, and we have done it well. -In the start up years of Matinée, Ibiza only gave way for a few specific English and German promoters as those were difficult years for any old group from Spain to make an entrance on the island. But as time marched on and the outstanding work from the Matinée group persisted, they found great success on the White Island. -This year Matinée moves to Amnesia. What was behind the change? -The truth is, in our expierence at Space, it proved to be the best after party in the world, no doubt. -I believe Matinée has lived out its time at Space and the new legislation regulating the opening hours effected all the changes that occurred at Space and its daytime parties. -This year we need a change of scenery, to apadt to the night, with an adapted product and all the necessary changes, and what better change then to move to the world’s best club. - Matinée has a new sum-

mer slogan, “evolutionrevolution.” Is it necessary to change the work dynamics to be able to evolve? Was it not possible to evolve at Space? -No, regarding evolution on an artistic level, we had already surpassed the possibilities at Space and they could not offer us as much as Amnesia, like the tall ceilings, large open space and spectacular surroundings. And to derive our slogan we need to make a complete change in every aspect. -And the revolution, what does it depend on? What are the latest developments that Matinée have for this summer season? -This is the year of change, first, artistically and above all the level of music. This year at Amnesia we will have two major players, representing our brand, J.Louis and Taito Tikaro, and an addition of two new faces, André Vicenzzo y Paco Maroto both rooms with two completely different sounds, something that has never occurred in the Main room before. -The position of the set, is key to our new era at Amnesia, we have many things prepared, even more surprises that will amaze each and everyone who comes out to any of our Matinée sessions in Ibiza this year. -How has the Circuit Festival evolved since its first run? -In a magnificant way, the calling of our first edition was vital and also something we had hoped for as

we offer a quality alternative to the other events in the city, how great to deserve something of such magnitute. The public response was our greatest alliance, confirming our next event.The last edition was the first and was a year of global recognition. -What’s the latest developments included this year? -Above all and most important is the recognition from institutes like the City Hall of Barcelona, Sitges Town Hall and other government bodies. For this edition we have increased the number of runnig days and also increased the number of daytime activities in correlation with our cultural theme such as debates, exibitions and the gay and lesbian film circuit. On the clubbing front, we have new collaborations with other promotor groups such as Bravo from Madrid and Rapido from Amsterdam. Yet of course we cannot forget the largest parties like the Aquatic Park and on Saturday night the multifaceted Pavellion Olimpico of Badalona for thousands of people to come and party, plus the new proposed Sunday Beach party, daytime at l’Atlantida de Sitges. -How were you able to project this fesitval on an international scale? -Well basically we were present in all the gay and lesbian publications around the globe starting with Brasil, The United States, Greece, Italy, U.K., Germany, France amongst the few, and above all the

great help of our pre parties run around the world, with more than 50 parties, which gave us the edge and our reputation of quality. -What was the reaction of the people in the parties of the other cities not mentioned, Istanbul, Zurich, Paris, San Paolo and Moscow? -Over all the general feedback and recognition of these parties is fundamental, always filled with energy and good vibractions. Our brand has been well received all around. -What does this festival mean to Matinée Group? -It is the consolidation of the brand, it was about time that we made a major step with a major challenge, for our dedication in Barcelona and around the world, offering places and parties for gay people. We are very proud to continue and to be known world wide.
