The COVID-19 pandemic has shown how vital the voluntary sector is to the healthy, compassionate, and effective functioning of city life. In order for the VCS to continue to play its essential role in supporting all the citizens of Sheffield to achieve their potential and to enable Sheffield to recover in the most inclusive way possible, the voices of the VCS must be heard and valued. The potential of what we can achieve when we work together, and the impact for people in the city, is clear to see - Maddy Desforges, Voluntary Action Sheffield.
