GRIOT STUDIO 850 sqft. Apartment | Mumbai | 2022

An 2 bhk apartment in the bustling heart of Mubai was designed for a young couple who are pilots and avid travelers. With the arrival of their newborn in 2021, they moved to a new apartment and wanted the interiors to reflect their personalities.

Inspired by the popular show “Bridgerton” and the Regencycore aesthetic, a modern twist was given to the design while maintaining a minimalistic approach. The clients favored gold and white, aiming for a royal touch.

Pet and child-friendly materials were incorporated, and one bedroom was converted into a nursery.

Communication challenges arose due to the clients’ busy schedules, but decisions were made through video calls and messages. Working within a set budget, five months were dedicated for site execution, ultimately achieving the desired results.

Nidhi Shetty I oversaw the entire project from start to completion, diligently managing all aspects.

My responsibilities included understanding client preferences, optimizing space planning, conceptualizing and developing designs, creating working drawings aligned with the desired outcome, selecting suitable materials and colours, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and following up with the clients.

Additionally, I was responsible for scheduling regular site surveys, curating furniture and decor, managing the budget, ensuring quality control, and overseeing project styling and completion. My ultimate goal was to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing home that precisely met the needs and vision of the clients.

THE WILLINGDON SPORTS CLUB Expansion Project | Private Club House

Willingdon Sports Club stands as a remarkable oasis in the heart of South Mumbai. Renowned as one of India’s premier and oldest private clubhouses, it has undertaken a comprehensive architectural expansion initiative.

The project includes the construction of a gym, massage rooms and splendid indoor courts designed to enhance the overall offerings and amenities at the club. This expansion aims to enrich the ‘Willingdon Sports Club experience’, providing esteemed members with state-of-theart facilities and a wider range of recreational opportunities. The meticulous planning and thoughtful execution of this project seamlessly blend functionality and a sense of community.

Project Size 1,05,640 sq. ft.

In my role, I was responsible for generating floor plans for the ground and first floors, working drawings, and some 3D renders. Working closely with the senior interior designer, I carried out regular on-site visits, gaining firsthand exposure to fieldwork and refining my communication abilities with clients and vendors. This particular project holds a distinct place in my heart, as it presented an opportunity for me to engage with architects, civil engineers, and project managers, significantly expanding my perspectives and fostering the growth of my skill set.

30 Greens : A Bungalow Project.

SHASHI PRABHU AND ASSOCIATES Aurangabad | 2018

The bungalow located within the 30 Greens Housing Society is nestled in the city of Aurangabad, India. I embarked on a proposed interior layout project for a client who was also open to structural alterations– a venture that required special permissions for interior modifications. Encompassing the ground, first, and second floors, along with an adjunct terrace level, the bungalow provided an expansive canvas for transformation. My role encompassed producing furniture layouts for the ground and first floors, as well as the generation of comprehensive working drawings using AutoCAD. These layouts were carefully designed to match the client’s preferences.

TALATI AND PANTAKHY Apartment | Mumbai | 2017

This 18th-floor apartment in South Mumbai offers a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea. The soothing sight of the sea and the fresh breeze provide a sense of tranquility and relaxation, which is exactly what the client aimed to achieve through the design of their home. The central focus of the design was to provide utmost comfort and relaxation, achieved through the meticulous selection of high-quality furnishings and textiles that add a touch of opulence.

With a generous budget, the project aimed to curate an interior that exudes elegance through the use of premium materials, furnishings, and finishes. The comprehensive proposal includes mood boards, floor plans, 3D renderings, material samples, and a detailed budget breakdown. Effective communication and regular updates were integral throughout the project.

The balcony was designed to be transformed into an outdoor oasis, featuring weather-resistant furniture and cozy seating. The bathrooms were designed to showcase clean fixtures, while the bedrooms were intended to prioritize restful sleep with comfortable beds and ambient lighting. The overall theme of modern elegance is achieved through sleek furniture, muted tones, wooden elements, and smart space utilization, resulting in an airy and clutter-free ambiance.

During my time working with the team of designers at the company, the project was still a work in progress.
