Studying at NIDA means you’ll have many opportunities to be collaborative with peers in fully staged productions under the guidance of leading international and Australian directors, writers, choreographers and designers.

Stage and Screen Performance students collaborate with NIDA Directors and Writers to produce screen performances.

SCRIPTED SPACE

Exploring the intersection between story and scale models with Writing and Properties and Objects students collaborating. FESTIVAL OF EMERGING ARTISTS

A series of daring new works by the next generation of directors and set, costume and technical designers.

MASTERWORK PRESENTATIONS

Students in Costume, Props and Scenic Construction showcase an in-depth research project based on their own areas of interest.

PUPPET SHOW

A dynamic performance opportunity in which Properties and Objects students become puppeteers and present their creations.

WRITERS’ READINGS

Writing students present a collection of short readings of their new work to a public audience.
