The Legion Post 510 in Nicollet holds a fish fry every single year in the little town of Nicollet and have been doing so for nearly seven
decades in a row. This year marks the group’s 69th annual fish fry for the Legion in Nicollet. The event ran from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Legion in Nicollet and the event was packed wall to wall during the afternoon still. There was difficulty finding
parking as a matter of fact. Cars were parked block by block to get a taste of the Alaskan pollock fish that the group had prepared for the festive event. The group said they have been doing this event for so long that they have the cooking and preparation methods down to a routine.
