BELL WARP Concept

The design inspiration was initiated by The Complex in Asbury Park, NJ, which offers three restaurants that connect together, for ease of movement within the building. The design intent, through materiality and FF + E, was to express the idea of “re-inventing the wheel”, taking old, rusty products and redesigning them into new, innovative, and fun products

The history of Bell Work is reflected through the products they designed. Taking those timeless products and reinviting them allows visitors to experience and learn about the history of Bell Labs as they enjoy a meal.

HISTORICAL PRODUCTS

This space was designed during the pandemic. Taking that into consideration the restaurant needed social distancing and cleanable materials, allowing guests to feel comfortable at a safe distance.
