NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR Hello, and welcome back to a summer of live theatre! I'm so grateful to Moonlight Stage Productions for knowing the importance of communities coming safely together to tell and hear stories. And what a perfect show to end the 2021 summer season.

James Vàsquez

To me, Moonlight has always meant 'family.’ On Your Feet! - The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan celebrates just that. We watch a family build itself. We watch as they deal with success and loss and unravel to only rebuild even stronger. Their resilience is not to be matched - except by maybe our theatre community and family.

Just as Gloria sings "Coming Out of the Dark," I've watched The Moonlight return this summer more glorious and confident than we were in 2019. And after a long intermission, I'm thrilled to once again be a part of this resilient, inclusive, and talented family of artists and storytellers. I'm delighted to guide and share Gloria and Emilio's inspiring story, encouraging us to step into our authentic selves and share our voices with the world. Welcome to On Your Feet!. This show demands that we get up out of our seats and dance. I hope you'll join me in the aisles! Enjoy the show.

James Vásquez James Vásquez Director
