CODİNG STEAM AND STORIES –PROIECT MINUNAT ETWINNING 2020-2021 Prin această minunată revistă, parte integrantă în proiectul nostru sau rezultat al muncii noastre alături de copii şi părinţi, am dori ca prin această revistă tradusă în cele 3 limbi: română, engleză şi turcă să dăm un imbold şi altor colegi şisă arătăm tuturor că se poate lucra şi în momente mai dificile, dacă există voinţă. Cei mai mari benneficiari au fost copiii, apoi cadrele didactice.

Mulţumesc tuturor pe această cale pentru colaborare.

Conform calendarului proiectului, în fiecare lună am avut de studiat şi de codat, de realizat experimente pornind de la o poveste de Eric Carle, acest proiect fiind o continuare mult îmbunătăţită a proiectului ,,Travelling with fairytales”, proiect etwinning premiat cu Certificat de calitate. Astfel, încă lucrăm, dar am dorit să adunăm la un loc munca de câteva luni bune pentru a realiza această minunată revistă.

Through this wonderful magazine, an integral part of our project or the result of our work with children and parents, we would like to give an impetus to other colleagues and through this magazine translated into the 3 languages: Romanian, English and Turkish and we show everyone that it can work even in more difficult times, if there is the will. The biggest beneficiaries were the children, then the teachers.

According to the project calendar, every month we had to study and code, to perform experiments starting from a story by Eric Carle, this project being a much improved continuation of the project "Traveling with fairytales", etwinning project awarded with Quality Label Certificate . So, we are still working, but we wanted to put together a few months of work to make this wonderful magazine.

Projemizin ayrılmaz bir parçası olan veya çocuklarla ve ebeveynlerle yaptığımız çalıĢmaların bir sonucu olan bu harika dergi aracılığıyla, diğer meslektaĢlarımıza ilham vermek istiyoruz ve bu dergiyi 3 dile tercüme ediyoruz: Rumence, Ġngilizce ve Türkçe ve herkese zor Ģartlarda bile ne kadar güzel iĢler çıkarabileceğimizi göstermek istiyoruz. En çok çocuklara fayda sağlamayı ve daha sonra da öğretmenlere katkı sağlamayı amaçlıyoruz. İşbirliği yaptığınız için hepinize teşekkür ederim.

Proje takvimimize göre her ay Eric Carle „ın bir hikayesini kodlama ve deneylerle çalıĢıyoruz.Ve bu proje kalite etiketi ödülü alan „Seyahat eden masallar‟ projesinin bir üst basamağı niteliğindedir.Ve biz bu muhteĢem dergiyi yapabilmek için ekip olarak birkaç ay boyunca sıkı bir Ģekilde çalıĢtık.

plored by doing coding exercises. While students are learning aspects, they have fun and gains such as cognitive thinking skills, algorithmic thinking skills, and problem solving.

1. În timp ce învățam direcțiile pe elevii noștri, conceptele de dreapta, stânga, sus, jos au fost explorate făcând exerciții de codare. În timp ce elevii învață aspecte, se distrează și câștigă, cum ar fi abilitățile de gândire cognitivă, abilitățile de gândire algoritmică și rezolvarea problemelor. Öğrencilerimize yönleri öğretirken kodlama çalıĢmaları yapılarak sağ, sol, yukarı, aĢağı kavramları araĢtırıldı. Description of the activity "Polar bear, polar bear, what do you hear?"

Etkinliğin açıklaması „Kutup Ayısı, Kutup Ayısı, ne duyuyorsun?” În ziua de astăzi, omenirea produce o mare cantitate de deșeuri, care se pot colecta și selecta. Prin deșeu, înțelegem produse, materiale, obiecte ce nu se mai folosesc și se aruncă, dar care, totuși, multe dintre acestea se pot recicla, realizându-se astfel un nou produs. În cadrul grădiniței unde îmi desfășor activitatea, se pune mare accent pe activitățile ecologice, motiv pentru care am ales ca pentru activitatea „Ursule polar, ursule polar, tu ce auzi?” din cadrul proiectului “Coding, steam and stories”, să folosesc materiale reciclabile.

Deoarece încă ne desfășurăm activitățile în mediul online și fiind și grupă mică, copiii și părinții au avut posibilitatea de a confecționa un urs polar din materiale diverse, antrenându-și astfel imaginația și creativitatea.

Astfel, copiii au exersat deprinderi tehnice specifice activității practice și și-au creat propriul urs polar, utilizând cu preponderență materiale reciclabile. Totodată au conștientizat importanța reciclării, refolosirii și recondiționării, în scopul împrietenirii cu mediul și a responsabilizării.

Obiectivele pe care le-am urmărit în desfășurarea acestei activități cu materiale reciclabile sunt: Antrenarea copiilor prin folosirea deșeurilor; Dezvoltarea interesului de a lua parte la o activitate practică realizată din materialele colectate de aceștia;

Pentru confecționarea ursului polar, copiii au folosit diferite materiale reciclabile ca: rolă de hârtie, vată, hârtie colorată, farfurii de carton, ochi mobili, burete etc.

Frumos decorate, rolele de hârtie pot deveni cu ușurință un urs polar. Pe suprafața rolei, copiii au lipit ochi mobili și puțină vată, pentru a simboliza blana animalului, iar din bucăți mici de hârtie/carton, au confecționat urechile și lăbuțele ursului polar.

Copiii au fost pur și simplu fascinați de ceea ce au putut să obțină cu ajutorul unor lucruri care păreau atât Pentru confecționarea ursului polar, copiii au folosit diferite materiale reciclabile ca: rolă de hârtie, vată, hârtie colorată, farfurii de carton, ochi mobili, burete etc.

Tot un urs polar foarte reușit a rezultat dintr-o farfurie de carton, vată și ochi mobili. Pe o farfurie de carton, copii au lipit bucăți de vată, ochi mobili și din bucăți de hârtie în formă de cerc, au realizat urechile și nasul/botul ursului. De asemenea, tot pe o farfurie de carton, au lipit ochi mobili, iar apoi, cu ajutorul acuarelei, au pictat botul, sprâncenele și obrajii, pe care i-au făcut cu culoare roșie, deoarece “în zona polară este frig” (Patrick P.).

Un alt copil, a cerut ajutorul părinților săi, pentru a-l ajuta să deseneze conturul unui urs, pe o foaie de hârtie albastră. Apoi, cu ajutorul unui burețel și acuarelei de culoare albă, a pictat suprafața ursului, prin ștampilare, realizând, astfel, un urs polar. Activitatea a fost una reușită, gândirea creativă a fost exersată de-a lungul întregii activități, ceea ce a dus la îmbunătățirea aptitudinilor artistice ale copiilor, ajutându-i să înţeleagă importanţa procesului de reciclare şi refolosire pentru mediul în care trăim.

La finalul activității, fiecare copil și-a prezentat reușitul și mult-îndrăgitul urs polar.

By waste, we mean products, materials, objects that are no longer used and thrown away, but which, however, many of them can be recycled, thus creating a new product.

In the kindergarten where I work, there is a lot of emphasis on ecological activities, which is why I chose the activity "Polar bear, polar bear, what do you hear?" within the “Coding, steam and stories” project, to use recyclable materials.

Because we still carry out our activities online and being a small group, children and parents had the opportunity to make a polar bear from various materials, thus training their imagination and creativity.

Thus, the children practiced technical skills specific to the practical activity and created their own polar bear, mainly using recyclable materials. At the same time, they realized the importance of recycling, reuse and reconditioning, in order to befriend the environment and be responsible.

The objectives we pursued in carrying out this activity with recyclable materials are: - Training children by using waste; - Developing the interest to take part in a practical activity made from the materials collected by them; - Developing the interest to take part in activities with recyclable materials.

Beautifully decorated, rolls of paper can easily become a polar bear. On the surface of the roll, the children glued moving eyes and a little cotton wool to symbolize the animal's fur, and from small pieces of paper / cardboard, they made the ears and paws of the polar bear.

Another very successful polar bear resulted from a cardboard plate, cotton wool and moving eyes. Every year, I noticed a great interest, a kind of restlessness, in the cold season, with the coming of winter. Children, look forward to, without! When the first snowflakes begin to fall, the children's joy is boundless. Their thoughts are on lumps, building snowmen, walking health, skiing and skating, or many other improvisations, which only the child's mind is capable of.

During the development of the project "Children's games in winter", I had the joy, the first snows of this winter. Moreover, I had the opportunity to learn about the phenomena characteristic of the winter season, what happens to nature after the white carpet is laid, which are winter sports and games. The children were encouraged to play as much as possible afterwards, because the snow does not give play, it does not give activity.

In addition to the various activities proposed, the children were trained, together with their parents, to make each one a snowman, both from the snow and from other care materials available at home. In a beautiful and very creative partnership, parent-child, they competed in achieving the proposed theme. Along with the built snowmen, various materials were used to carry out the activity: thread, buttons, straw, skins, colors, cotton wool, cardboard, jar, plasticine, lace, artificial snow, light bulb, thread, etc. making each work have its own uniqueness and beauty.

The winter season offers children a perfect setting to stimulate creativity, to explore the environment. Thus, in this project I tried to respond to the special interest shown by preschoolers and the need for knowledge, helping them to change it from nature in the winter season, how important it is not to take care of health, and to understand it, which are regulated to be observed during winter games.

Nu ne putem imagina copilăria, fără râsetele şi jocurile sale. În fiecare an, am observat, un interes foarte mare, un fel de neastâmpăr, în sezonul rece, odată cu venirea iernii. Copiii, aşteaptă cu nerăbdare, să ningă! Când încep să cadă primii fulgi de nea, bucuria copiilor este nemărginită. Gândul lor se îndreaptă spre bătaia cu bulgări, construirea oamenilor de zăpadă, mersul la săniuş, datul cu schiurile şi patinele, sau multe alte improvizaţii, de care doar mintea copilului este capabilă. În perioada desfăşurării proiectului ,,Jocurile copiilor iarna”, am avut bucuria, primei zăpezi din această iarnă. Cu atât mai mult, am avut oportunitatea să învăţăm despre fenomenele caracteristice anotimpului iarna, ce se întâmplă cu natura după ce se aşterne covorul alb, care sunt sporturile şi jocurile de iarnă. Copiii, au fost încurajaţi, să se joace cât mai mult afară, pentru-că zăpada ne dă poftă de joacă, ne dă poftă de activitate.

Pe lângă diversele activităţi propuse, copiii au fost antrenaţi, alături de părinţii lor, să realizeze fiecare, un om de zăpadă, atât din zăpadă cât şi din alte materiale de care dispun acasă. Într-un parteneriat frumos şi foarte creativ, părinte-copil, s-au întrecut în realizarea temei propuse. Alături de oamenii din zăpadă construiţi, s-au folosit diverse materiale, pentru realizarea activităţii: aţă, nasturi, paie, acoarele, culori,vată, carton, borcan, plastilină, dantelă, zăpadă artificială, bec, aţă,etc. făcând ca fiecare lucrare să aibă unicitatea şi frumuseţea ei.

Anotimpul iarna oferă copiilor cadrul perfect de stimulare a creativității, de explorare a mediului. Am încercăm, astfel, în cadrul acestui proiect să răspund interesului deosebit manifestat de preșcolari și nevoii de cunoaștere, ajutându-i să înțeleagă schimbările din natură în anotimpul iarna, cât este de important să ne îngrijim sănătatea, și să înțeleagă, care sunt regulile ce trebuie respectate în timpul jocurilor de iarnă.

"KıĢın çocuk oyunları" projesinin geliĢtirilmesi sırasında bu kıĢın ilk karı sevincini yaĢadım. Ayrıca kıĢ sporları ve oyunlar olan kıĢ mevsiminin fenomeni, beyaz halı döĢendikten sonra doğaya neler olduğunu öğrenme fırsatı buldum.Çocuklar mümkün olduğunca çok oynamaya teĢvik edildi. Önerilen çeĢitli aktivitelere ek olarak, çocuklar hem kardan hem de evde bulunan diğer bakım malzemelerinden her birini kardan adam yapmak için ebeveynleriyle birlikte eğitildi. Güzel ve çok yaratıcı bir ortaklık içinde, ebeveyn-çocuk, önerilen temaya ulaĢmak için yarıĢtılar. YapılmıĢ kardan adamların yanı sıra, her iĢi yapan iplik, düğme, saman, deriler, renkler, pamuk, karton, kavanoz, hamuru, dantel, suni kar, ampul, iplik vb. kendine has benzersizliği ve güzelliği var. CODING , STEAM and STORIES NEŞE YAĞCI ANTBİRLİK PRIMARY SCHOOL 1- Why don't polar bears get cold?

The concepts of hot-cold, thick-thin are given. We found our belongings that keep us warm.

We talked about how polar bears don't get cold even though they don't wear any clothes. By doing our experiment, we understood how the fat layer under their skin protects from the cold of ice.

3- Coding with block toys We divided the blocks we used to build towers according to their colors. We drew our arrows (right-left, up-down) on our A4 paper. Each arrow would represent a color, we determined it.

Coding, steam and story SELDA ZORLU POLAR BEAR STORY CODİNG ACTIVITY Coding and stem stories, an etwinnning project, was one of the January events to tell our story by coding. WEB 2 TOOLS One of our activities in November was to prepare puzzles with our web tool, jigsawplanet, to enable our students to apply them. My students liked the puzzle I prepared using the avatars of our school teachers. They both tried to find out who the teachers were and completed the puzzle. Anul acesta şcolar, după cum bine ştiţi, este unul atipic. Cea de-a doua poveste „MICA SĂMÂNŢĂ”, s-a desfășurat online, am postat copiilor pe grupul de WhatsApp, o prezentare PowerPoint cu imaginile poveștii având și conținut audio.

Tema activității pe care am propus-o preșcolarilor la această poveste a fost una practică, la alegerea fiecăruia, eu doar am sugerat o mică idee printr-o imagine.

Cea de-a treia poveste din cadrul acestui proiect se numește „VISÂND LA ZĂPADĂ”.

Am realizat o întâlnire online cu preșcolarii grupei mici pe platforma Zoom unde am citit conținutul poveștii, urmând apoi o activitate de pictură, având ca temă ceea ce le-a plăcut cel mai mult din poveste.

During this period, we tried to be active partners in the project and we want to do this from now on, maybe even more, being inspired both by the themes received and by the activities posted by the other partners.

We are the Dwarf Group from GPN Mintia and we are glad to be part of this interesting project, an international project aimed at creative activities, coding, experiments and wonderful stories.

Having already experienced the previous etwinning project "Traveling with fairytales" with stories by Eric Carle, the children were delighted to learn new stories of the author and to make interesting activities based on them.

The challenge is even greater, during this period, when alternating going to kindergarten with the scenario of "home kindergarten" -online, but with the involvement and help of parents, we managed to achieve beautiful and interesting activities.

The October activity included the story "From head to toe" by Eric Carle, as well as activities about the human body, hygiene, the 5 senses.

We also performed simple coding activities - to identify based on the colors a certain direction (up, down, right, left).

In November, I listened to the story of the "Little Seed" and learned about the life cycle of a plant, the parts of a plant, and what plants need to grow and grow.

"Dreaming

of Snow" by Eric Carle, is the third story of the project, made in December. Even if the activities were carried out entirely online and at home with parents, they produced enthusiasm, because they aim at one of the greatest joys of winter - snow and Christmas gifts.

In January we continued with the fourth story of the project, "Polar bear, polar bear, what do you hear?" and activities about snow, snowman, experiments on the state of water (liquid, solid, gaseous) and coding activities in the form of maze games.

We are going through a difficult period for all mankind, a period in which physical encounters with children are difficult to achieve. That is why our activities with preschoolers are carried out mostly with the help of parents.

The activities carried out with the children took place in the online environment, both synchronously and asynchronously. The children in our group are small group children, aged between 3 and 4 years.

The activities of this project had different topics of interest to children, in which they had to solve tasks that stimulate their attention, creativity, initiative. The activities done with the children were designed in such a way as to arouse their interest and keep their curiosity active.

Starting with the story "Polar bear, what do you see?", I carried out different activities with the children: they listened to the story in the online meeting, but also the video made with different applications, they made the polar bear from different materials. they had to combine them to get its image, they were challenged to solve tasks in games from different applications, etc.

The mathematical activities asked the children to order, to series, to classify, etc. different objects both in games with materials and in those created with the help of applications.

They learned through play how to sort the objects in ascending order, differentiate the objects by size and choose the object that has the indicated size. Of course, the activities, even if they took place online, were made with different materials available to children by parents.

During the evaluation of the learned seasons, the children selected the images with their specific elements, associated different elements depending on the color, size, shape, etc. The tasks given to the children combined several experiential fields, and to solve them it was necessary to update the knowledge, plastic education, practical skills and, last but not least, attention and creativity.

The games gave them the opportunity to solve difficult tasks, in which they had to show attention and creativity (constructions, puzzles, etc.). An example of this is the game in which they had to make a very high tower using glasses and other materials they deem necessary. His imagination and desire to succeed made him find the most ingenious solutions. The desire to succeed was doubled by the promise that after completing the task, a surprise awaits him (red dot, a surprise puzzle, etc.).

Tüm insanlık için zor bir dönemden geçiyoruz, çocuklarla fiziksel olarak karĢılaĢmanın zor olduğu bir dönem. Kasım ayında önerilen hikaye KÜÇÜK TOHUM idi. Anaokulunun aktivitesi online ortamda yer almaya baĢladı, bu nedenle etkinlikler, önerilerimize açık ve bu projeye katılımımızdan memnun olan velilerimizin yardımıyla gerçekleĢtirildi.

I read the story to the preschoolers, realizing at the same time, together with the preschoolers, the movements suggested by the text of the story.

Then, the story was dramatized, organizing with all the children, a puppet theater.

In November, the proposed story was SMALL SEED. The activity of the kindergarten started to take place in the online environment, so the activities were carried out with the help of the parents, who were receptive to our proposals and were delighted by our participation in this project.

I read the story of the Little Seed to the preschoolers, asking them to plant a small seed with their parents (doing a Steam activity as well), they were asked to take care of the plants they have at home and to make flowers, using various techniques.

An interesting project, a challenging project that brought together participants from several European countries. Participants eager to communicate, to exchange opinions and impressions, participants eager to evolve, and through knowledge gained from these cultural exchanges, to help the direct beneficiaries, the children, to evolve and to broaden their horizons.

Through activities conceived and carried out in this project, I tried to present a little of the way and style of carrying out the activity in a kindergarten in Romania, in the urban environment. This was made somewhat difficult by the times we live in.

In the following I will present you snapshots of some of the activities carried out with the children.

1. Integrated activity: The girl with the matches by Hans Cristian Anderson.

Through this integrated activity I sought to present to children and those children who do not have living conditions as good as theirs, those children who need our help and compassion, those children who around the holidays again want the same like them gifts, but often do not receive.

Through this approached topic I sought to pass on to the children some knowledge about the polar areas, animals that live there and people who live near the polar area.
