SENIOR YOGA WITH CAREY Tuesdays & Thursdays | 10:30-11:30am Maxwell Adult Center | Ages 55 and Up $25/month 1 day per week | $40/month 2 days per week Relax, relate, release. Join us at the Maxwell Adult Center for senior yoga and everyone ages 55 and older are welcome to attend. Participants may attend any four of these classes per month for the price of $25.00 or all eight classes per month for the price of the price of $40.00. SENIOR HEALTH AND FITNESS DAY Friday | May 29 | 9am -3pm | Maxwell Adult Center Ages 55+ | FREE Please join us at the Maxwell Adult Center from 1 - 3pm to celebrate National Senior Health & Fitness Day on May 29, 2020. Registration will begin March 30 and end May 8.

SIT AND FIT Mondays & Wednesdays | 9:15-10:15am & 3-4pm Maxwell Adult Center | Ages 55 and Up | FREE Come enjoy a low impact cardio group class with Danielle. This class is structured to help enhance strength and conditioning for participants through adaptable muscle-toning exercises, which offer a challenge at levels which are safe. A Night Out

PURE COUNTRY THE MUSICAL Thursday | April 16 | 4:30-11:30pm Bus leaves from Jimmy Burke Activity Center Ages 55 & up | $40 The Maxwell Adult Center would like to invite you to travel with us to the Hobby Center in Houston to see the musical Pure Country, a story about a country music star that loses his connection with music and embarks on a journey of self discovery not only spawned Strait’s best selling album, but continues to be aired on Country Music Television every week to ardent fans. Its charttopping hits ‘Heartland’, ‘Baby, Your Baby’ and ‘I Cross My Heart’ return to the Lone Star State during the hotly anticipated world premiere of TUT’s Pure Country musical adaptation in the spring of 2020.

Pulling an All Nighter

PARAGON CASINO RESORT Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday | June 6-8 *Last day to register is May 22 Bus leaves from Jimmy Burke Activity Center at 10am June 6 Ages 55 & up | $135 single occupancy; $80 for double occupancy Come join the Maxwell Adult Center on a two night stay at the Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, LA where you can gamble the night away, watch a movie at one of their three movie theaters or take a dip in one of their pools. The cost of this trip includes your ride on a restroom equipped motorcoach, two night stay at their hotel, $30 free play and a $10 food credit.

NASKILA CASINO Thursday | January 23 | 8:30am - 5:30 pm Bus leaves from Jimmy Burke Activity Center Ages 55 & up | $15 The Maxwell Adult Center will be traveling to Naskila Casino in Livingston, TX for 5 hours of gambling fun. Include in your cost is $15 free play at the casino and a $10 food credit.

PAINTED CHURCHES/ OAKRIDGE SMOKEHOUSE Wednesday | February 19 | 9am-5pm Bus leaves from Jimmy Burke Activity Center Ages 55 & up | $18 The Maxwell Adult Center is traveling to Schulenburg, TX to visit the Painted Churches of Texas and would love for you join us. We will traveling to Schulenburg on a Harris County bus where we will pick up a guide who will join us on our bus to visit these beautiful churches, along the way we will eat lunch a 1pm at the Oakridge Smokehouse (self pay).

BLACK COWBOY MUSEUM/ ANOTHER TIME SODA FOUNTAIN Thursday | February 6 | 10am-4pm Bus leaves from Jimmy Burke Activity Center Ages 55 & up | $10 Come join the Maxwell Adult Center for a trip back in time, as we visit the Black Cowboy Museum to learn about the history of the real cowboy. We will leave the Jimmy Burke Activity Center at 10am and head to lunch at the Another Time Soda Fountain (lunch is not included in price) in Rosenburg where the Soda Jerks prepare fountain drinks in the traditional way.

YELLOWSTONE PADDLEWHEELER Monday | March 23 | 9am-5pm Bus leaves from Jimmy Burke Activity Center Ages 55 & up | $30 Join the Maxwell Adult Center in making memories with Dido’s Restaurant and Yellowstone Paddlewheeler as we travel along the San Bernard River on a 90 minute tour. (lunch is not included in price).

HOUSTON MOUNTED PATROL / PAPPAS BAR-B-Q Thursday | May 14 | 9:30am-2pm Bus leaves from Jimmy Burke Activity Center Ages 55 & up | $5 The Maxwell Adult Center is traveling to the Houston Mounted Patrol location to learn more about their mounted patrol. BYOC (bring your own carrot) to feed the horses and learn how this unit works. After we will travel to Pappas Bar-B-Q for lunch. Lunch is not included in price.
