INEX ART GALLERY + STUDIO INEX Art Gallery & Studio subverts the relationship between interior and exterior spaces. The gallery explores how architecture engages the social realm and investigates the role of public space and public art in today’s society. With a facade that essentially erodes into the art gallery, this blurred line between what is perceived as “outside” and “inside” is the core of the gallery itself while captivating the captive audience on site.

MUI HAUS

Exterior Render

Designed to fit the cultural background of the Mui Family and their needs, the Mui Haus emphasizes modularity and the fluidity of spaces within a home. The notion behind having no distinction between public and private program is expressed in the Mui Haus and follows a traditional yet modern approach to the standard typology of programmatic sequences of spaces within a home.

09 | Material Selection | Renders | Stitched on Tenth | 2019

Recycled stained wood siding is used to identify BeLoved ATL because of its warm tones to symbolize a safe and home like space that is inviting for women who are victims of domestic violence.

Corten steel is used to identify World Relief ATL for the materials resistance to corrosion that also develops a light rust that protects the material - this speaks true to the hardships refugees had to overcome to seek refuge in Atlanta and how strong they are for their stories.

Corrugated steel is used to identify TRANScending Barriers for the materials lightweight nature and texture, this reflects the LGBTQ+ and TRANS communities many diverse personalities and people just like the deminseionality of the material.

Open frame light-weight steel parasol roof symbolizes an umbrella that everyone can feel protected and welcomed by. This roof becomes a signature not only for BeLoved ATL but for Stitched on Tenth as well.

Corten steel rust screens allow for a sense of barrier but also with the ability for light to pass through the screen, the panels are not directly attached to the building to let natural ventilation circulate.

Nano Liner XB (dynamic LED lighting) illuminates the building with the pride colors that represent the LGBTQ+ community, this marks their identity and provides them with a space that is designed for them.

[PROJECT / NAME ]

13 | Mixed-Use Office + Urban Farm | Renders | [Project / Name] A New Workplace | 2020

[PROJECT / NAME] - A NEW WORKPLACE

Exterior Render

[Project / Name] integrates the transition of the flow of people through one considerable diagonal force extracted from the existing site. This move provides an angular ordering system which allows for the collision of circulation, mass and program to create a dialogue between the contemporary workplace and public space within a city. Through urban farming and landscaping, [Project / Name] creates opportunity for community engagement through sustainable living while also providing a hub for Atlanta that not only educates the community but also the working people it houses. As a whole, [Project / Name] is rooted into its neighborhood and is designed to mediate the urban landscape by blending public and private spaces that respects the movement and grid of the site while also fostering a place to work, play and learn.

IN BETWEEN - [UP] LIFTING A COMMUNITY ‘IN Between’ is an affordable housing project designed to mediate between the public and private realm within an urban context. As a way to embrace the community, IN Between sits on the site along an axis that develops a meaningful and visual connection directly to the street. The mediator in this case, is the central open courtyard which is located along that axis which differentiates between public and private conditions. Located in Atlanta in an underdeveloped neighborhood, IN Between focuses on being a “hub” that provides accesiblity to food for not just residents but for the neighborhood as a whole. It is this accesibility to food which creates programs like
