GARANTIE Chlorophylle apporte le plus grand soin à la conception et à la fabrication de ses produits. Nous les garantissons contre tout défaut de fabrication pendant leur durée de vie normale (premier acheteur). Cette garantie ne couvre pas les dommages causés par un usage inapproprié, un mauvais entretien, un accident ou l’usure et la décoloration normale du matériel avec le temps et l’utilisation. Si se produit s’avérait défectueux, veuillez le retourner avec votre preuve d’achat chez votre détaillant Chlorophylle agréé qui nous le fera parvenir pour évaluation. Il sera alors réparé ou remplacé à notre discrétion.

CREDIT - Administration charges of 24% per year will be applied on all past due balances.

RETURNS - Require a Return Authorization Number from «Chlorophylle» wich must be clearly indicated in and on the box.

- All goods must be in clean condition and shipped prepaid with name, address and telephone number of dealer and customer. (Cleaning charge $25,00).

- «Chlorophylle» reserves the right to repair, replace or credit, subject to warranty conditions.

WARRANTY Chlorophylle takes the greatest care in the design and the manufacturing of its products. We guarantee it against any manufacturing defect during its normal life span (first purchaser).

This warranty does not cover damage caused by an inappropriate use, imprper care, accidents or the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use. If the product is defective, please return it with your proof of purchase to your closest Chlorophylle retailer who will then forward it to us for evaluation; it then will be repaired or replaced a our discretion.

On s’est croisés sur les plus hautes montagnes du monde, dans un quartier près de chez vous. Ensemble, on parlait déjà de prendre soin de l’environnement avant qu’on appelle ça l’Environnement. Nous sommes engagés, passionnés, tissés serrés. Nous partageons le même ADN. Surtout, on veut continuer à «jouer» dehors. Comme en 80.

Au fil du temps, Chlorophylle poursuit sa mission de s’inspirer de ce que nous faisons sur le terrain pour créer puis offrir des vêtements et chaussures de plein air durables et responsables. Nous avons toujours été conscients de faire partie d’une industrie qui a sa part de responsabilité dans le problème. C’est pourquoi nous tentons le plus possible de trouver de nouvelles manières de faire : travailler avec des fibres recyclées, bannir des procédés toxiques, tout cela en sensibilisant nos clients grâce à du contenu éducatif dans nos communications et en s’associant à des scientifiques sur le terrain. Aimer la nature, c’est avant tout la protéger.

A GREAT CANADIAN BRAND Before the outdoors became an industry, there were people who «played» outside. Without thinking they were doing an activity, a sport. We met on the highest mountains in the world, in a neighborhood near you. Together, we were already talking about taking care of the environment before it was called the Environment. L'ajout d’un déperlant DWR apporte une imperméabilité supplémentaire, ce qui les placent comme articles essentiels pour la randonnée, le camping et les aventures urbaines.

Made of 100% polyester with a 15K/15K waterproof/breathable membrane, our jackets and pants offer superior performance and technical features at a great price. The addition of DWR water repellency provides extra waterproofing, making them essential for hiking, camping and urban adventures.

New this season, we offer the ¾ length women's rain jacket for added coverage and protection from the rain. Our jackets feature a functional one-handed elastic adjustment at the hood as well as a velcro front flap, offering additional protection from the elements. And to complete the outfit, pants are also available for women, men and children.

La ligne de vêtements Littoral pour femmes est fabriquée en bambou, un matériau incomparable pour un style de vie actif. La matière est douce et agréable à porter. Sa structure lisse et arrondie lui confère une grande souplesse pour un ajustement optimal. Le bambou est thermorégulateur et évacue l'humidité, ce qui permet de rester au frais et au sec. Il possède également des propriétés antibactériennes et antimicrobiennes qui protègent contre les mauvaises odeurs et offre une protection SPF 30+ contre les rayons UV nocifs. D'un point de vue écologique, le bambou pousse rapidement et ne nécessite pas beaucoup de soins ou de ressources, ce qui en fait un choix durable.

La collection Archipel est une couche intermédiaire autorégulatrice conçue pour favoriser le mouvement et le confort lors d'activités sportives dans une large gamme de températures. Le tissu principal est composé à 86 % de polyester recyclé et de 14 % de Spandex, ce qui le rend respirant, extensible et léger. Il sèche rapidement et est doté d'une finition DWR respectueuse de l'environnement ce qui lui permet de mieux résister à l'eau.

Pour améliorer le confort, nous avons ajouté une doublure texturée en polyester recyclé à 100 %, qui est également autorégulatrice et perméable à l'air. Cela permet à l'excès de chaleur et d'humidité de circuler puis de s'évacuer rapidement pour un plus grand confort lors d'activités intenses.

The main fabric is made of 86% recycled polyester and 14% Spandex, making it breathable, stretchy and lightweight. She has an impressive record of achievement, including the highest and most famous mountain, Mount Everest. In the summer of 2023, she will tackle the highest peak in North America, Mount Denali at 6,190 meters.

À la tête du projet Apex Woman, Marie-Pier souhaite élever l’empreinte des femmes qui est sous-représentée dans plusieurs domaines, y compris dans le monde de l’alpinisme, en augmentant le ratio femmes/hommes sur les plus hauts sommets du monde

Avoir dans les rangs de nos ambassadeurs une alpiniste de cette envergure demande à notre équipe de designers d’être à la fine pointe des dernières technologies en matière de textiles et de fabrication. Pour son expédition en Antarctique, avec des délais très courts de production, nous lui avons conçu un ensemble en duvet très chaud pour affronter les températures extrêmes du pôle Sud. Forts de ses commentaires et de nos recherches, nous travaillons à concevoir un autre ensemble encore mieux adapté à la morphologie des femmes alpinistes. Nous sommes honorés de participer et de l’accompagner avec nos vêtements dans ses différentes expéditions.

Having a mountaineer of this stature among our ambassadors requires our team of designers to be on the cutting edge of the latest technologies in textiles and manufacturing. For her expedition to Antarctica, with a very short production time, we designed a very warm down suit to face the extreme temperatures of the South Pole. Based on her feedback and our research, we are working on another set that is even better suited to the body type of female climbers. We are honored to participate and accompany her with our clothing on her various expeditions.

L’escalade, c’est une histoire de famille chez les Arroyo-Bégin, alors que les grands-parents québécois de Mathias ont adopté les murs verticaux bien avant sa naissance. Ses parents, d’ailleurs, se sont connus en grimpant quelque part du côté de Val David.

Climbing is a family affair in the Arroyo-Bégin family, as Mathias' Quebec grandparents adopted vertical walls long before he was born. In fact, his parents met while climbing somewhere near Val David.

« C’est drôle parce que quand j’étais jeune ils m’ont initié à l’escalade et je n’ai pas aimé ça du tout », dit-il en riant. C’est que l’activité était à cette époque trop calme (!!) pour l’adolescent qu’il était. « J’aimais les choses plus casse-cou. J’aimais avoir des “rush” d’adrénaline, donc j’étais dans les sports plus extrêmes, laisse-t-il tomber. J’ai ensuite pris certainement de la maturité et j’ai compris que ça ne valait pas la peine de prendre plus de risques. J’aime l’escalade parce que je peux me pousser sans craindre de me blesser. » «Pour moi, la grimpe c’est un état de bien être, c’est un moyen de m’exprimer, de découvrir, de connecter avec les communautés et de partager des amitiés fortes. J’ai l’impression que l’escalade va chercher sa beauté de par son improbabilité; la seule raison de se mettre dans ces positions d’exposition est notre volonté.»

Grâce aux récits et vidéos d'expédition de Mathias, nous pouvons nous aussi ressentir ce sentiment de liberté qu’apporte l’escalade.

Voici quelques exemples d’actions concrètes dont nous sommes fiers.

GREENONE: UN POLYESTER À 100 % BIODÉGRADABLE Nous sommes extrêmement fiers d’accueillir la matière GREENONE chez Chlorophylle, un polyester à 100 % biodégradable. Fruit d’un long travail de recherche et de développement, nous avons enfin la capacité d’accueillir une gamme de vêtements conçue à l’aide d’un matériel qui ne fait aucun compromis sur son équivalent et surtout, qui respecte nos valeurs écoresponsables. La matière est légère, facile d’entretien, respirante, elle évacue l’humidité et sèche rapidement.

Le polyester régulier prend au minimum 450 ans à se dégrader dans la nature. Notre nouveau polyester biodégradable sera disparu à 85 % en 4 à 5 ans dans des conditions favorables. Il ne fait aucun compromis et conserve les mêmes propriétés que le polyester vierge tout en étant écoresponsable.

Le processus de recherche Pour produire la fibre du polyester recyclé afin de concevoir un t-shirt extra-large, nous avons besoin de cinq bouteilles de soda. Résultat? Tout d’abord, on évite de voir ce plastique se retrouver dans nos océans ou dans une décharge. Qui plus est, le polyester recyclé nécessitera moins de ressources pour sa conception. Finalement, pour le rendre 100 % biodégradable, nous avons ajouté en laboratoire des additifs organiques qui font qu’au fil du temps et dans des conditions adéquates, la matière se décomposera lorsqu’elle sera enfoui sous la terre ou complètement immergée sous l’eau. Avant de jeter un vêtement, il faut se rappeler qu’il existe différentes alternatives comme la réparation, le don, la revente et le recyclage. Cependant, lorsque le vêtement sera devenu inutilisable l’étape de biodégradation pourra s’amorcer dans des conditions favorables (temps, chaleur, taux d’oxygène ou d’humidité).

DES VÊTEMENTS FABRIQUÉS AU QUÉBEC La décision de concevoir et de fabriquer localement est un pas important vers la promotion du développement durable. En réduisant les distances pour le transport et l'expédition, nous minimisons notre empreinte carbone et soutenons l'économie locale. De plus, en fabriquant avec des partenaires locaux aux mêmes valeurs que nous, nous avons un meilleur contrôle sur la qualité des produits et pouvons s'assurer que ces derniers répondent aux normes les plus strictes. À l’automne 2022, notre première production locale comprenait les deux manteaux d’hiver Chicoutimi et Saguenay. Au printemps 2023, nous avons introduit la veste imperméable Fjord, entièrement fabriquée par les couturières de notre atelier de Chicoutimi.

En 2024, tous nos t-shirts en coton seront également produits localement, ce qui réduira encore notre impact sur l'environnement.

GREENONE: A 100% BIODEGRADABLE POLYESTER We are extremely proud to welcome the GREENONE material to Chlorophylle, a 100% biodegradable polyester. The result of long research and development work, we are finally able to welcome a range of clothing designed using a material that makes no compromise on its equivalent and, above all, that respects our eco-responsible values.

Regular polyester takes a minimum of 450 years to degrade in nature. Our new biodegradable polyester will be 85% gone in 4 to 5 years under favorable conditions. It makes no compromise and retains the same properties as virgin polyester while being environmentally responsible.

THE RESEARCH PROCESS To produce the recycled polyester fiber to design an extra-large t-shirt, we needed five soda bottles. The result? First of all, we avoid having this plastic end up in our oceans or in a landfill. What's more, recycled polyester will require fewer resources to design. Finally, to make it 100% biodegradable, we have added organic additives in the lab so that over time and under the right conditions, the material will decompose when buried under the ground or completely submerged under water. Before throwing away a garment, it is important to remember that there are different alternatives such as repair, donation, resale and recycling. However, once the garment is no longer usable, the biodegradation process can begin under the right conditions (time, heat, oxygen and humidity levels).

CLOTHING MADE IN QUEBEC The decision to design and manufacture locally is an important step towards promoting sustainable development. By reducing transportation and shipping distances, we minimize our carbon footprint and support the local economy. In addition, by manufacturing with like-minded local partners, we have better control over product quality and can ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

In the fall of 2022, our first local production included the two winter coats Chicoutimi and Saguenay. In the spring of 2023, we introduced the Fjord waterproof jacket, entirely made by the seamstresses in our Chicoutimi workshop.

In 2024, all of our cotton t-shirts will also be produced locally, which will further reduce our impact on the environment.

Au niveau environnemental, la certification que la production n’utilise aucune substance toxique ou potentiellement dangereuse. Elle limite aussi la consommation d’énergie et d’eau nécessaire à la production en plus d’assurer un traitement responsable des déchets. Elle impose également de contraintes concernant la qualité de l’air et l’émission de CO2.

Pour l’aspect social, la certification impose des critères concernant les conditions de travail afin d’éviter les discriminations et les maltraitances. Elle assure un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire.

On the environmental front, certification ensures that no toxic or potentially hazardous substances are used in production. It also limits the energy and water consumption required for production, and ensures responsible waste treatment. It also imposes constraints on air quality and CO2 emissions.

On the social front, certification imposes criteria on working conditions to avoid discrimination and abuse.

It ensures a clean and safe working environment.

Repreve® est une fibre textile performante fabriquée à partir de matériaux 100% recyclés, y compris des bouteilles en plastique post-consommation et des déchets pré-consommation.
