BIOMIMICRY - GENIUS IN NATURE
This studio project consists of a design process using the wisdom found in nature to inform and reveal a new spatial order in architecture. My project includes a lush world stands a group of primitives that evolves around the metamorphosis of a Pangolin. In this process, I explored the possibilities of creating spaces, structures and functions/ programs that are informed by the natural order and dynamics of plants and animals in their living context.

4 INDUSTRY PROJECT
SHSS SIMULATION CENTRE
During my Year 3 Studio Project, we engaged in an industry project focused on gathering feedback from nursing staff and students in the simulation centre at Nanyang Polytechnic. The objective was to identify their challenges and subsequently redesign the floorplan to enhance efficiency and well being for both staff and students. The aim was to create a more comfortable environment for everyone involved.
Exploded Axonometric
The center’s design was simulated to closely mirror that of the external hospital wards. Numerous features, including the wall design and floor arrows, were integrated to enhance wayfinding. The incorporation of natural materials like timber, along with adjustments in lighting, was undertaken to create a serene and calming atmosphere within the interior space.
5 INTERN PROJECT
MAKE - A - WISH PROJECT
During my internship at Studio Super Safari, we received a request from a MakeA-Wish volunteer coordinator seeking assistance for a 14-year-old girl with a brain tumor who desires a bedroom makeover. The young girl is passionate about art and currently has numerous crafts scattered throughout her room. The goal is to create a dedicated art corner while ensuring sufficient storage for the entire room. My boss handed this project for me with the guidance of my colleagues to accomplish the goal.
Summary
We interviewed the young woman to learn more about her layout preferences and also visited the client’s living space.

SOFTWARES USED - REVIT
The goal of this project is to create a contemporary architectural design that seamlessly incorporates cultural and traditional elements. I selected the Peranakan Shophouse as inspiration and utilized Revit for modeling. The project served as a practical exercise to familiarize ourselves with software tools like Revit and Enscape.
