New England Patriots Practice Facility. Individual Work
The Kraft Complex, a statement of the dynasty that is the New England Patriots, embodies the dynamic and sophisticated playing style that fans and viewers are a part of every week. Presented here is the new facility and a change in how NFL practice facilities can be designed. Existing offices and player designated rooms are currently housed in the stadium. Providing a new space where players and coaches are in closer proximity to the resources they need allows for more efficiency throughout. In turn, the old facility rooms can be transformed into private clubs or other necessary programs to meet the ever changing demands of fans. The design process was kept very simple: defining the needs of the players and coaches, as well as creating a place for the public to be closer to the team. The program required for the new practice facility was created using weeks of research of other existing facilities both pro and collegiate.

All of the rooms where players and coaches will use were placed on the east and north sides of the building allowing views to the stadium and practice fields. This position also allowed for natural light to reach into the rooms. The main conference room can hold up to one hundred individuals providing enough room for all the players and coaches.

Fans now have the opportunity to be closer to the team as they tour the inside and outside of the new complex. Allowing fans and guests to learn more about the facility and how the team prepares for each game will draw in more visitors before and after games. Two new plazas designed for fans have been placed adjacent to the field and along the main entry. The two plazas eventually intersect and create a new path to the stadium gates. The plazas add public space and unique landscaping to the area that also creates flexible space for events to take place next to the practice field. This also offers new tailgating opportunities as the practice fields can be open for the public to be on before games in Gillette stadium start.

VETERAN AFFAIRS CLINIC PROFESSIONAL WORK
At five floors and over two hundred thousand square feet, the new VA clinic will bring a new standard of care to the city of Phoenix. Inspiration from the surrounding landscape was used as the foundation of design for the new clinic. The surrounding mountains are integrated into the form of the building as well as the natural colors. Scheduled to open in May of 2021, the new VA will be one of the largest ever to be built in the united states.
