Community Member Spotlight: Karen Tuecke

Serving the northeast Iowa community is at the heart of everything Karen Tuecke does. She spends most of her time as the Partners in Mission Coordinator for the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and has been an active fund development director for more than 15 years. But she doesn’t stop there! Karen stays busy after hours by teaching at both Northeast Iowa Community College and the University of Dubuque. Karen also extends her busy schedule by volunteering for local businesses. Currently, Karen serves on the board of directors as the Communications Chair for the Associations of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Tri-State Chapter (AFP-GTS), Marketing Manager for the Sustainable Dubuque Wading Pool Gardens, and website designer for many of the local Catholic schools and businesses in and surrounding the Dubuque area.
