EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP – INTERNATIONAL A Powerful Educational Experience Niagara University’s 36-credit master’s program in international educational leadership prepares candidates for emerging administrative opportunities within school systems around the world. The program focuses on integrating theory and practical experience, and provides a relevant curriculum to enhance professional development. Candidates participating in this program bring varied backgrounds, giving it diversity, and adding depth and breadth to the classroom experience and the program as a whole. They are prepared to develop, analyze, implement and evaluate educational practices and policy standards across international boundaries. Through interpersonal advocacy, cross-cultural communication, and use of emerging technologies, students become professionals prepared to make significant contributions to an increasingly interconnected world.
Curriculum Our program offers a rigorous curriculum, and online coursework for flexible scheduling. Students will learn from international doctoral faculty possessing extensive leadership experience, and a strong knowledge base of best practices. Intensive internship opportunities in an applied practicum are available where students live and work, preparing graduates for a number of career options, both domestically and internationally.
FLEXIBILITY The online format of the program lends flexibility, and allows students to complete their master’s degree at their own pace, either in two years on a part-time basis, or fast track in one year.

EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP – INTERNATIONAL Current teachers and practical educational leaders may elect to enroll in the international educational leadership program to prepare themselves to serve in a variety of leadership roles within schools, colleges and universities, private organizations, and the community at large. Students will be equipped with a global awareness, an understanding of cross-cultural communication, and emerging technologies that can be applied to a number of professional roles including district administration, non-governmental leaders, heads of private educational organizations, and managers of international education centers. With further education, graduates of this program may choose a path towards research in international education, design of new international programs, or program evaluation of international education.
