THE MUSE is the student-run literary arts publication at Northview High School. Each year, our publication releases our annual literary magazine issue, which explores the impact of arts on our society. The magazine spotlights writing and art to encourage the student body to explore creative outlets and artistic expression. Each magazine aims to draw attention to an issue pertinent to our communities. Our goal is to highlight the voices of our majority-minority student population through varying forms of the arts and sustainability as a safe space for all.
In creating Appetite, we considered how the theme could be applied to the student body. We are ambitious, forward, and the next generation of dreamers and movers. In other words, our “appetite” is insatiable. As you read through the magazine, we urge you to explore the depths of your hunger: dreaming, wondering, and growing. And to eagerly imagine who you want to become: what impacts your ambitions will have on the world around you.
