A Gift That Lasts The holidays are a joyous time for many of us. They are also a time of giving. I’d like to tell you about one family that embraced that spirit of giving and left a lasting legacy with New Hampshire PBS. The Butler Foundation has been a great friend to NHPBS over the last decade. Together, we've harnessed Tom Butler’s passion for birding and our love of storytelling to produce six award-winning documentaries about birds and the people who are devoted to them. Yet there is more to this story than a passion for birds. The Butler Foundation's generosity has expanded our ability to tell new kinds of stories with cutting edge technology. Our new cameras are smaller, lightweight and able to capture more images per frame, allowing you to see the fluttering of a bird's wing or to soar high over mountain tops. They’re also a lot easier for our Emmy award-winning videographer, Steve Giordani to use when climbing mountains and navigating rough terrain. This is how one man's passion and your New Hampshire PBS station have worked together to enrich the lives of millions of people. So in the spirit of giving this holiday season, I ask you to think about the impact you want to make. What is your legacy? Contact us today at 603-868-1100 to make a difference in the lives of many.
