RISING NOTES ...
On 8 May Dr Sole, Director of Junior School Music, and Mr Janik, one of our accomplished piano teachers, gave a wonderful performance at Rising Notes, our first-ever concert in support of the Parents’ Bursary Appeal. th
With Dr Sole on cello and Mr Janik on piano, the audience of NHEHS friends and families was treated to a beautiful programme of timeless classics – from Dvořák to Zimmer –brought to life with humour and storytelling that delighted both children and adults.
Dr Sole also spoke passionately about the power of music in education, and the importance of making it accessible to those who might not otherwise experience it
With some generous match-giving, £2300 was generously donated to widen access to amazing opportunities for young women Thank you!
Our vision is to unite parents as philanthropists, providing full bursaries for talented young women to access NHEHS’s exceptional education and facilities.
Please join our 71 families who donate 1% of their fees to give a talented young woman an awardwinning, aspirational yet grounded education.
1% of net fees from September equals £17.80/month for Junior School parents and £23.08/month for Senior School parents.
As a charity, GDST can claim Gift Aid, increasing donations by 25%, so every single new family joining the club can make a significant difference

On May 7th our Year 13 pupils and parents gathered to mark the end of their school education and launch our Class of 2025 Bursary
Award holder Noor Ahmed shared her story: “Being born into an immigrant household to two disabled parents with no income meant that a private education was far out of reach To support myself I started working when I turned 15 I applied to NHEHS and was so happy to be accepted The education I received looked very different; class sizes were tiny, teachers would know their students’ interests and names Suddenly passing wasn’t the aim but getting students to the top grades and the top universities was Without individual donations, I wouldn’t have come to this school, and wouldn’t have ended up where I am now Thank you!”
