In some remote areas, people are often very superstitious about gods. When they get sick, they don’t go to the doctor but go to worship the gods. Once they have trouble or bad luck, they do rituals to worship the gods meaninglessly and extravagantly. This not only doesn't help them, but makes their lives more difficult. For another example, when a couples are going to marriage, their parents always go to a fortune teller to see the couples’ ages. If the fortune teller say that the couples’ages couldn’t match, their parents will try to stop them from coming together. This is so cruel and unreasonable because they may prevent their children from leading a free and happy life. To change this situation, we must work together to propagate and develop the modern thinking, especially in remote areas.

Superstition is a part of the culture of many countries. It has both advantages and disadvantages. Each ethnic group has different beliefs about what they consider lucky. It is this that makes the difference between cultures, helping them to become rich and diverse.

Superstitions are also used to teach about things related to morality such as being gentle and kind, the place people will belong when dying, etc...
