Jennie

Kim Jennie (born January 16, 1996), better known by her stage name JENNIE or Jennie Kim, is a South Korean singer, rapper, actress, and member of the girl group Blackpink under YG.

Born and raised in Korea, Jennie studied in New Zealand from the age of 8 for 5 years, before return ing to Korea in 2010. She debuted as a member of girl group Blackpink in August. 2016. In November 2018, Jennie made her solo debut with the single “Solo”. The song was a commercial success domestically and internationally, topping both the Gaon Digital Chart and the Billboard World Digital Songs Chart. In 2022, she will have her first acting role in the HBO series The Idol, under the stage name Jennie Ruby.
