I have a background in heritage research from my undergraduate study in Newcastle to my UBC graduate thesis. I believe my skills and knowledge can help your firm do heritage-related projects as your firm is currently doing the award-winning Mirish Village project in Toronto. Besides my strength in heritage projects, I am open to experiencing varied types of design. For example, I designed a Community Pool in conjunction with the landscape design for the residents in the mixed-use precinct Skeena Terrace (refer to project 1 in my portfolio). Regarding work ethic, I simultaneously challenged myself by doing both academic work and real work on my home interior design (refer to project 2). 3 Jesmond Museum Narrative Project

Water garden .

The journey’s starting point is the underground water streams in St Mary’s Well from West to East. The water is an elixir and the consistent element of all stories. These rooms align to the holy water direction, and a water corridor is devised.

The long corridor is the metaphor of the underground water runway. It is a dark narrow path lightened by the sun; the blue sky above reflects the water - an imaginary spring.

The sky is the implication of water, which is observed along the Ouseburn riverside. It is an interpretation of nature impressions into architecture.
