How to estimate life span of our spherical seals
Our R&D department is equipped with a comprehensive testing facility, where extensive testing has been conducted over numerous hours on the spherical seals that are mounted in our bearing houses.
The Spherical Seal Service Life graph shown below is backed by over 180,000 hours of rigorous seal testing. Each seal is put through its paces using an advanced automated pressure monitoring system, ensuring real-world reliability by running multiple tests simultaneously.
Based on the results, you can for example expect around 8,800 hours of operation for Ø25 mm bearings - equivalent to about 1.100 working days at 8-hour shifts.
